Back at DevCon 2011 we saw a bunch of cool games during the General Session Keynote, one of which was Roboto. Roboto puts you in control of a hoverboarding robot whose quest it to fend off evil security bots in order to ask out the girl of his dreams. With over 30 levels, Roboto is sure to keep you entertained for hours. Features include:

  • Over 30 levels of gravity-defying action
  • 5 unique weapons
  • Platforming gameplay with a physics twist
  • Invest in your game with character upgrades
  • Eye-catching cel-shaded graphics

Roboto sells for $4.99 and is just one of many great games from the folks at Union. You can check it out along with other great titles like Falling Fred and Snuggle Truck in BlackBerry App World.

Is there a compelling reason to run the beta of OS2? It seems to me it is void of the features most people actually want.

One of the reviews on AppWorld says it does work with 2.0, but since I'm not a developer, I don't have 2.0, and I haven't tried it. YMMV.

Nice game though. I've played the first level. I like the concept and it runs smoothly. I'm looking forward to playing more tonight.

Yeah stop complaining with the os2 dev beta. It was your own decision to dl it when you know its not for consumer use. Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzz
