Here's one for you folk in the UK who struggle to find enough loose change in your pockets to pay for parking. RingGo is the number one UK phone parking service and their application is now available for BlackBerry 10 devices. Accessible at over 4000 locations across the UK this one will certainly come in very handy for many drivers.

The app is an Android port but I've tested out a few of the features and it works like a dream. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many locations show up near to where I live so I may well get an account for those times when I have no cash or I just can't be bothered to get out of the car and grab a ticket.

RingGo is free to download so why not give it a try?

Features of the app include:

  • Locate your nearest or recent parking site
  • Pay for your parking
  • Top up your parking
  • Add/change your registered vehicles
  • Register with RingGo
  • Manage your account

Been using Ringo over the phone line for ages, great to have the app running now, much easier to use. Definitely worth while.

I think James' review posts highlight an important feature of BlackBerry's new App World for BB10: the presence and importance of regionalized apps. I know James has highlighted US/Canadian-based apps in the past, but perhaps there should be a special sub-section under the reviews tag on CB that lets users browse for app reviews/announcements based on their particular region? I believe App World itself does this as I have a section titled "Top 50 Apps & Games for the U.S."
