Earlier this month RIM launched the BlackBerry Bold 9788 in China pretty much overnight and we hadn't heard much on this Bold 9700/9780 update before it popped up on the newswire. Apart from those in China (and perhaps some other areas) none of us will ever get to see this device live and in person, but RIM has dropped a promo video on YouTube showing it off. Not much to be noted on this one as it totes basically the same specs as the Bold 9780 with a 5MP camera, BlackBerry 6, Wifi and GPS. Seeing it does however make me want a BlackBerry Bold 9790 pretty bad. I know it sounds crazy, but as I stated argued on the last podcast, I miss the size and feel of my Bold 9780 and could definitely go for an upgraded model.
