RIM has been doing a lot of work to their developer tools and will be continuing the rollout of updates over the next little while. In case you're wondering when those rollouts will happen, the developer flightboard has been updated with timelines and things are looking great. On time across the board is a beautiful thing to see. Bring on the BlackBerry 10 apps!

Of note is that the Cascades SDK attains feature completion next month and come out of Beta in November whilst the Webworks SDK attains feature completion in November and comes out of Beta in December. The logic of launching BB10 in 2013 now makes sense.
Both cover the big ones BBM, Push and Notifications.

Still nothing on USB. I guess they couldn't figure out how to make it work (yet).
