This kind of isn't new news as BlackBerry UK managed to put the BlackBerry PlayBook 3G+ on their website last week and we were then allowed to publish our short 3G+ video. Today sees the 'official' announcement from RIM regarding the device.
As I mentioned the other day the new PlayBook 3G+ isn't cheap but it will get updated to BlackBerry 10 at some point, although we have no idea how soon that will be.
"The new 3G+ BlackBerry PlayBook tablet is a powerful, portable, and versatile tool that helps customers be more productive than ever and to make the most of their time on the go," said Johnathan Young, Head of Consumer & Retail Channels, UK, Research In Motion. "It includes all the connectivity a customer needs to make their work time more effective, as well as access to a wide variety of apps and multimedia content for when they want to stay entertained on the move."
