RIM Launches the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 in Italy with Style!

While all of us in North America have anxiously been awaiting the arrival of the BlackBerry Pearl 8130, RIM has been busy in other markets getting the "Pearl 2" rolled out. Read the official RIM/TIM 8120 launch Press Release.

Stefano from BBworld.info just came back from the 8120 Launch Party in Milano (my girlfriend is Italian...I refuse to call it just Milan). Click here for the pics (or if you can read Italian, the story too!). Any bets on when we will see the 8120 hit GSM carriers in North America?

When? While CDMA is finally launching their versions of the Pearl, when does TMO/AT&T get to push out a wifi version? I would figure soon for TMO considering they have the @Home service available. While the Curve is a popular alternative, I personally like the Pearl better.

Need that ETA for the US launch...
