If you're a BlackBerry developer looking to learn more about NFC and how you can integrate it into your applications, RIM wants to help you. Kicking off on October 4th, 2012, a new series of webcasts will be held where you can learn all about NFC starting with the basics and moving into more advanced stuff such as integration within BlackBerry 7 and BlackBerry 10. In total, there will be three webcasts held each with their own look at specific topics:
- Introduction to NFC on BlackBerry - An overview of NFC technology, what it can be used for, and the specific skills required to take advantage of it.
- Working with NFC tags on BlackBerry 10 - Examine NFC tags and how application developers can write to them, read them and act upon their contents from their BlackBerry 10 apps.
- Working with NFC tags on BlackBerry 7- This will follow the same structure as the BlackBerry 10 session, only customized to BlackBerry 7 apps.
If you're looking to learn more about the webcasts or get yourself registered, you can hit the link below to get started.
