During BlackBerry Jam Americas, we got to see the first live demo of the official Facebook application for BlackBerry 10. The developers promised that all of the big social networks, like Twitter, LinkedIn, and foursquare will also have their own native apps at launch. The app itself wasn't particularly different from anything you might see on Android or iOS, handling all of the regular stuff like updating your status (complete with location, pictures, and tags), and running through your news feed, however it is very much improved over what we currently have on BlackBerry devices.
Which social networks would you guys like to see on BlackBerry 10 at launch? There was no mention of Google+, but who knows what could happen between now and launch...

Also, who cares about google+?
jkomo001 Sep 25, 2012 at 1:38 pm
definitely google+ ! I care, its the future, people just don't realize it yet.
I would also be interested in a Tumblr app at launch. because the tumblr app now I think is definitely lacking, but one with bb10 I think could be real promising.

How about Skype, facebook app is hardly anything new.
Rootbrian Sep 25, 2012 at 7:36 pm
RIM doesn't make Skype, Microsoft has to.

Google + will be another Myspace soon..
Ask 10 people on the street, if they heard of google +. If they use it daily or even know what it is..
Future pffft.

agreed. I don't know anyone on it and I have no interest in joining.

A lot of web developers and online writers join Google+. Almost everyone at Crackberry.com media team has a G+ account. It gives a wide exposure to articles you write on your website.

Google+ is good stuff. Hangouts, events, bigger pictures, editing pictures, being able to share with more than one group. I love my Torch 9810 and would get the next BB10 with a keyboard, but if Google+ doesn't get real with a client on BlackBerry then I have a tough decision to make.

Same here, After I started using Google Hangout I realized I don't need Skype anymore. Hangout is more fun and has a lot of cool options that people will love. I am waiting for BB10 to be oficially announced and if they don't have a G+ app I don't know if I will get one or not, but I hope they do :)

pepe241185 Sep 25, 2012 at 3:18 pm
Facebook owns Instagram .... so the Instagram app, or integration into the Facebook app is a definite possibility ...
Emu the Foo Sep 25, 2012 at 3:26 pm
Awsum again! I like using the app currently but sometimes you gotta use the site. Good for rim
krillian hex Sep 25, 2012 at 3:29 pm
Would like to see instagram get ported over. And any other social network that only seems to make its way to Iphone and Android.
Just because Facebook owns Instagram, they mentioned they will not require instagram to change how they do business or interfere with their program. So, it may not be integrated into the BB FB app.
