Back during BlackBerry World when RIM announced BlackBerry Balance there was nothing more then a press-release given explaining that the services were now available to IT admins. RIM has has posted up a video giving everyone a look at what, exactly BlackBerry Balance can do for them. You'll not be making use of this on your personal device but, if you are attached to a BES through work you may start to see some usage of it on your device now.

Well done!
This is one of those things too RIM needs to advertise to their corporate customers, especially on the decision maker level. Make them re-think, should we REALLY be allowing Android or iOS products on our network?
Realistically you are allowing apps on a device that can mine information from the phone and send it back to a home server...not like Google or Apple would let that slip right?

I've been telling the BB guys in our IT dept about this since I first heard about it. Excellent.

Excellent!
Exactly what I was looking for. Now I just need to figure out how I get this on the BES.

Like everyone else, I agree that this is a pretty awesome feature.
However, anyone else find that control panel user interface for IT Admins just like...a lot of text to look at, at once? I guess it ain't pretty, but it works.

What RIM really needs to do before they roll out Balance is wave the additional $10 fee to connect to a companies BES.
