I do own this stock and this is definitely a buy at 43.50. It may fluctuate here and there but this over a little time is going up. Why? Because of good management, significant amount of marketshare, and once a blackberry user always a blackberry user. There is no way to back to a regular phone. Nuff said. If you have some money put it in, because I want to see fellow blackberry users have some money for a rainy day.

So they don't want to release the "Official" Numbers ehh? No problem I have been keeping record and I have estimated RIM is profiting roughly $1.2 Trillion dollars a year from over priced phones and $10 a month directly to them just so I can get onto the internet even though I am using my service providers connectivity.

Perhaps they will stop being so greedy and start focusing on lowering there price of there damn phones and service.

Just a thought...

Don't comment if you have no idea what you are talking about.

I agree Newton. I mean if Blackberry is that bad then use a different phone. Oh wait thats a hard thing to do since its hard to get away from a Blackberry. Another thing whats wrong with making money? Im sure you would try and maximize your profits if you in the same position it would be stupid not too, especially if people are dishing out the money. You get what you pay for!!

Especially with current (economic) events, such as they are, a company actually thriving, profitable, hiring instead of laying off -- especially a company that you bought your smartphone from and whose service you use!

Did you mean 4th Q 2008, or is there a BB app that can tell the future?

Where on god's green earth did you calculate a 1.3 trillion profit per year? They are not even hitting that number in sales for christ revenue. And if they did, boy would my shares fly.
