BlackBerry's trying to get to the bottom of all those repeated reviews on the Android BBM app (which is soaring over 5 million installs now by the way) -- with many an Android fan looking for a conspiracy. It's worth remembering, though, that flooding a Google Play listing with ridiculous reviews isn't exactly a new phenomenon. Google doesn't have the best measures in place for preventing shady reviews - let alone bogus apps.
Case in point: the "Samsung Push Service" app, which became infamous for reviews from users who thought they were being cute.
