* Update: OK, Flight all booked. Flying to Waterloo. Will be reporting back from there next week! *

Research In Motion just fired off its shortest press release to date, announcing the date of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. I made the trip to Waterloo last year and attended. Should I go this year? I'm leaning towards... yes. If you have lots of shares, let me know. Maybe we can vote me onto the board this year. :)

Press Release

WATERLOO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 3, 2012) - Research In Motion Limited (RIM) (NASDAQ:RIMM)(TSX:RIM) will hold its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10:00am EDT in Waterloo, Ontario. The live webcast can be listened to on July 10 at http://www.rim.com/investors/events/index.shtml.

Kevin - you or Chris must go. I believe that this negative media stream will continue today's attempts at taking back the stream not withstanding. I believe the company is going to have to come out with a little taste of BB10 for shareholders.

Every exec who spoke today said some version of "I have seen BB10 and it's the real deal" and I think they are only going to take back the narrative when we believe that to be true.

Oh - and I hope you will take Ham sandwich as a show of solidarity!

Kevin.. You gotta go and bring Chris.. We had some great conversations at BB Jam. I'll definitely be going to the AGM!

Also, maybe we can hit up Taco Tuesdays at Kitchener City Hall once the meeting is done! I'm sure Alex is down for that! :)

Should definitely go and invite me to the Taco Bell visit. Would love to meet Mr. Crackberry himself and see the enthusiasm.
If you do come though, I would switch back to the BlackBerry X_X

You can combine my shares (2000) with yours hopefully it gives you more power to demand the company it must releases BB10 before Fall this year. Hahaha

I will through my shares in as well. With this you have over 5k shares in your favor. One thing though, I'd like to take the place of the hamm sandwich to help you with RIM. =0)

You guys with shares should share your shares. Better yet give me all your shares because I'm sure someone will say the end of the world is coming soon.

Kevin, I really hope you have the balls to speak up on behalf of CrackBerry Nation this year. We need to hear you instead of that stoned guy who called out RIM on its lack of marketing last AGM.
