Tomorrow is shaping up to be a busy day for BlackBerry. Both the BlackBerry Enterprise event and Investor day are taking place tomorrow starting at 9AM PT, and we'll be tuned into it all. The Enterprise event will be streamed and anyone can tune into the investor call, plus we'll be setting up a live blog for everyone who wants to watch along and chat. As for expectations, well we know BlackBerry is going to be introducing BES12 along with BBM Meetings and we'll likely hear at least some news of the BlackBerry Classic and through the investor day, an update on BlackBerry's progress.
BlackBerry practically invented the idea of enterprise mobility. On Thursday, we will begin a new chapter, revealing a portfolio of products and services that mark the end of mobile compromises — and the beginning of secure possibilities.
For companies, the possibilities offered by mobile technologies are expanding. But, so are the risks. The complexity involved in getting an enterprise mobile strategy right can be daunting. BlackBerry can help. Our vision is to simply — and securely — enhance collaboration and productivity across the enterprise.
How we plan to do that will be revealed on Thursday at an event in San Francisco that will feature BlackBerry CEO John Chen, members of his senior leadership team, BlackBerry partners, customers and industry experts.
All in all, it should be an exciting day, and we hope you'll join us to follow along with it all. BlackBerry CEO John Chen has made a bit of a habit of letting a few interesting tidbits slip and here and there for everyone, so it's worth tuning in. Anything in particular you all looking forward to or hearing more about? I'd like to hear some definitive Passport sales numbers, given some of the recent predictions floating around and investors will be watching to see if there's traction there to increase software revenues.
