Real Table Tennis

We've featured our fair share of tennis games over the last year or so for BlackBerry 10, but not table tennis that I can recall. Real Table Tennis is another great game that unfortunately you won't find in BlackBerry World (at the time of publication), but you can grab it from the third party Android store Snap.

As well as the game being awesome - hence us telling you about it - I was pleased to see that is runs perfectly well on both all-touch and hardware keyboard BlackBerry 10 devices. As usual with most games - the bigger the screen size, the better the experience and I'd say this one's the same, but I played it quite happily on my Q10 and the game will be remaining on my BlackBerry.

You'll start off with a tutorial to get you used to the screen gestures as this one is not just about direction, but timing too. Then you'll move onto a training match where if you beat the opponent you'll get access to the next level, but earning the right to play opponents comes down to needing a certain number of balls - which you accumulate by winning matches.

If this one looks your type of game I'd highly recommend it and it's free too which is always nice. Even if it's just for killing a bit of time it's a sweet little game to have in your games arsenal.

Features include:

  • International Table Tennis League
  • 20 Unique Table Tennis Players to Challenge
  • Table Tennis Career
  • Multiplayer
  • Realistic Physics
  • Beautiful 3D Graphics
  • Leaderboards

Looks sick, might download next week, still have a bunch of unknown unrated games to go through and try

Has Desmond Douglas got it on his BlackBerry? Who, you might ask?

Only a British Table Tennis Legend. Never really given the recognition his status deserves.

I played this type first on iPad, don't find the same satisfaction with the Android, now at BlackBerry, however I'm running at Q, I hope I could play it with someone who owns a Z.
