Re-Introducing the BlackBerry by Choice T-Shirt... 20 Freebies up for Grabs!

1) Hardcore version, please! I'm bad-ass and that would complete my awesomeness. :) 2) I'm BlackBerry by choice because I've never been fond of touchscreens. Granted that I had the Torch 9800, I rarely used the touchsreen. And I'm BB-B-C guy because I fell in love with the keyboard.

Had an HTC Evo 3D, wasn't fond of it. Bought a 9310 and fell back in love with BlackBerry after my 4 month love affair with Android.

For me, I'd love the two thumbs up version. I've chosen to keep using BlackBerry, despite all my colleagues moving to other platforms.

Just about everyday I go to work and get ridiculed for being a proud Blackberry user. I constantly hear, "How can you be a software engineer and carry such an awful, low end device? Buy a real phone! (iPhone)" I always fight for my Blackberry and always will! This shirt would greatly aid in my Blackberry defense!

2. I love my Blackberry! Especially my PlayBook! My Torch and PlayBook combined are an unbeatable pair. My phone, messaging, multimedia, and other needs are all covered by these two devices (except Hulu :-( ). Hoping to start development for BB when I have free time. I've even switched my parents to Blackberry and now they never want to leave!

I use my phone as an actual communication device and not a handheld videogame system, so Andoid/iphone offers me nothing that I care about and takes away everything that I do care about (physical keyboard, trackpad, ease of use for texting, email, and internet). Blackberry by choice... As long as there's Blackberry ;)

1) I would prefer the two thumbs up version. It shows a little more restrain. :D Plus 2 thumbs typing, and 2 thumbs up. I just ordered a RIMpire Strikes Back Gelaskins for my BB, this shirt will go nicely with that. :D

2) I am BlackBerry by Choice because they just work better for me. I can get things done faster on my BlackBerry than compared to other platforms. I was an iOS user for years before i got my first BB, then i did a little world tour with Lumia 800 and Galaxy Note. Still i prefer my BB. :D Every seconds i save means more time for me to do other things.

1. The hardcore version. It's actually family friendly for my family as we have a strange tradition of taking family photos with middle fingers raised high... Even Christmas.

2. My family are predominately BlackBerry users. I've got a Torch, my Dad and sister both have a Torch, my brother and his wife have a Bold and Storm respectively, and my mother and brother both have Playbooks. I'm Canadian, so I like supporting a Canadian company, but after buying a Playbook and doing some research, I really believe that RIM has what it takes to own this turn around, take back the mindshare from the sheep and the robots and run with this like they stole it.

Seriously, my fist smartphone was a BlackBerry, my current smartphone is another BlackBerry and my next smartphone will be a BlackBerry 10.
I'm also owning a 64gb Playbook (first generation, when it was 700$ a unit) and a BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha (yep I'm a developer)
As a developer, BlackBerry is the platform I choose to develop on. I'n currently developing BlackBerry only apps for Playbook on free time and planning to be an active developer for BB10. (I already have my Dev Alpha!).

"Thumbs Up" it is ! Although the "Hardcore" version makes a point in itself, I feel the "Thumbs Up" holds up better. Blackberry users are obviously all proud users and users by choice. They defy the herd mentality which is out there. They don't blindly buy a phone because it the highest selling phone but make a calculated decision to balance work with pleasure. Blackberry stands for productivity and the "Thumbs Up" says it all. I, for one have been using a blackberry for approximately 3 and a half years and have never felt the need to move to another phone. As a matter a fact I purchased a Playbook in March 2012 and till date haven't been able to have a video chat with anyone cause I don't know anyone having a Playbook. But, that doesn't bother me at all as I use the Playbook extensively for work and entertainment. Blackberry Rules!!! , those who think otherwise are Fools!!! Go RIM!!!

It's all about the smartphone hierarcy of needs baby - with my BB I'm always connected and my life becomes easier, particularly in relation to my work (although my BB is my personal device); whether it's keeping up with my email, staying in touch with my family with the still amazing and second to none BBM when overseas, my BB is unparallelled and for me. Over the years I've also got to appreciate the other features and happily use it as my music and radio player, main browser, and can even be found playing the odd game or two!

If iphone and android have the realtime push notification backed by exclusive data plan solely for their phones that is better than blackberry (in features,services&price) I wouldn't choose blackberry. I choose blackberry for the realtime push notification with affordable exclusive data plan on all carriers here. I even use different number than my regular mobile phone number for my blackberry, so I can use my blackberry only for the BIS, and won't be disturbed by any calls at all lol. I think that can be said hardcore blackberry user by choice. Lols.

I'm BlackBerry by choice because I really can't stand touchscreens. My fingers are too chubby to touch the screen. I love keyboards. My sister had me hooked on BB when I bought her the BB Pearl back in 2008 and then she bought me one later that year (my first BB). I have owned 9 BBs ever since. I would prefer the safe for work version, because I want to rub it in everyones faces at work! I seem to be the lone stranger, on a crusade to keep Blackberry from disappearing there. They keep telling me they will let me power down the BES server when they decom it, and bronze it and put it on my desk. I tell them, don't be too hasty, there is a lot of stuff going on that they aren't seeing. That and my co-worker just plain can't get his iPhone to work for anything, it's just sad.

Anyway, I am absolutely BB by Choice, I've looked at all the alternatives, and frankly the BB fit my needs and desires better than anything else out there. I was BB before iphone, before android, and I stuck with it because I still like it better. I'm excited to see the new BB10 when it comes out, and I'm hoping it will still work the way I like it, just with even more expanded functionality, but more important be easy to use still. Also, I'm hoping to start seeing more mainstream apps available for it, and the ability to use the Android Market directly, instead of having to find apk's and convert them in a hit or miss process. That whole thing just has to go away, or it is going to be a real thorn in RIM's side. Oh, and BBM is awesome! My wife and I use it all the time and we don't have to pay for texting! 2) I'm blackberry by choice because blackberry is the phone that just does. There are many features on blackberry that i wish were on android. I even steered both of my parents into getting blackberries (Dad:9900, Mom:9360). I was actually very proud to have a blackberry in school, no matter what anyone said. Even though i switched to android, i will always be a blackberry fanboy. I check crackberry daily for news and info on BB10 and other things (which i will surely get when it comes out). Blackberries are amazing phones and i would like to let everyone around me know this. (Also there should be an android app for crackberry)

It has to be the thumbs up version: RIM is losing marketshare and customers to other competitors, but with BB10 on the horizon everything will be alright. My thumbs may be calloused from all of my typing over time, but its those same thumbs that show my support for RIM!

BlackBerry by choice because I've come to value the ease of communicating that BlackBerry offers: contacts are instantly available to me, whether by phone, BBM, SMS, email, however I need to reach them in an integrated fashion as opposed to the other platforms which have a much more segregated idea of contacts.

2) I recently upgraded from old Curve 8900 that I used to almost 3 years to Bold 9900. I fell in love with BB again and I just don't want to leave it. I would die if I BB does not survives and that's my choice. All said and done, really everyone who uses blackberry would point out hundreds of reasons as to why they use a blackberry everyday and would not use any Toy device. And I stand by all those reasons. Its is really difficult to highlight a few here. Basically its fast and easy to use for communication and the most reliable device. I have used Samsung galaxy S and its good as long as the battery lasts and as long as you do not have to send a msg or email to anyone but that's when it becomes the most s#@*% piece of hardware.

I'm BB by choice because the phone just works for me. People disagree often, but my BBs have always been a smart way to do things, even in the highly criticized UI/OS. I'm the type of person who learns how to take full advantage of his technology, that's why the 9530 was a great phone for me as it helped me outperform and out-task my friends an colleages using other devices. Same with my 9850. It works, it works well - which is what I need so I can work and work well.

Real life example: As a director on a board my 9530 helped me get some major important things done on a night when I decided to leave my laptop at the office. I received an email challenging some requests I made based on certain data. Since I duplicate all my important spreadsheets and other information on my phone's memory card regularly, I was able to use my Storm's multi-tasking to write a very long email while continuing to refer to multiple spreadsheets and Word documents. I was able to attach multiple files to my response email which supported my response. I could go on and on, but the important thing takeaway from that experience is that my BB helped me get it done that night and it did it in a way that no other mobile platform could have done for me.

At the end of that email was my signature that stated, "sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Storm." Some of the other directors asked me about my email the next day and were impressed that I was able to respond so quickly and effectively in a long email with multiple attachments from my phone. This was about two years ago. At least two other directors now have personal BBs, and I attribute it to that situation.

Certainly there are many other situations I could talk about, but that one usually sticks out.

My partner has a 'droid and I am constantly pumped at how my 9780 capabilities outweigh hers. My 3G phone isn't as lightening fast, but that is a small trade-off.

There are quite literally times when folks' health and safety (and mine!) depend upon my ability to communicate reliably, and BlackBerry delivers. What's really great is that my Torch 9810 is also a pretty good entertainment tool! Who says that you have to give up durability, long battery life, and great radio performance to run run cool apps? While I would normally go with the finger, I feel obligated to go family friendly to help foster a positive image for BB (I will be wearing it proudly as often as possible.)

As for the why:
I'm a relatively recent addition to the BB fan family, coming on board during these last couple of painful years for RIM. I came over because of all of the positive that is the BB experience and because of the potential I saw in the company, especially the playbook. My opinion remains unchanged, despite all of the misleading negative media, and want to wear the shirt to prove it. 2. I am not Blackberry choice, though; there is no choice. Nothing else out there can come close to the ease of use, efficiency, and interconnectedness of a Blackberry. I have 5 email accounts, as well as 5 gmail calendars (configured to be color-coded on my 9930) and I can manipulate them all in real time by way of a unified calendar and inbox. I'm Blackberry because it is the only thing out there that works the way I need it to!

Why am I BlackBerry by Choice? Because with BBM I can see if my messages have been delivered/read, with BlackBerry Protect I can remotely find, lock and wipe my device if it is ever lost or stolen. With BlackBerry Bridge I can connect and remotely control my PlayBook, as well as read all of my emails/BBMs and the rest on the PlayBook. With my BlackBerry I can play BrickBreaker - the BEST game ever made. With my SD card I can add music/put photos on my PC on the fly without loading up a program. With Email anything I send will have "Sent from a BlackBerry Smartphone" at the bottom, and this will let people know that I get stuff done. With Social Feeds I can post to all of my social networks all at once. Most of all, with my BlackBerry at my side (or, glued to my hand) I know I will always be connected, I know all of my data is secure, and I know I look awesome.

2) I love my BB for business. I know RIM being so Hardcore on security kinda put them behind the eightball a little. So what. I want a company looking out for me and my companies best interest. I thank RIM everyday for the security on my phones and playbooks. There are a lot of things I can say about it. Good looking phones, Bridging everything from Internet to pictures to watching movies on my TV to business meetings on a big screen but Security is #1. Two Thumbs Up :)

Medium Hardcore version please!

Communication is the only thing I need/use my phone for, and Blackberry is clearly above all else in this department. I cannot do touch screen typing at all, but I can hammer out texts and emails in a split second on my 9900 keyboard. It was my first cell phone four years ago, and is still my current phone (upgraded over the years, of course) with no plans of changing.

My family is also Blackberry by choice, with my brother working at the Waterloo campus for a number of years.

1.) I would love a BlackBerry Thumbs up t-shirt because it gets the message across in style without offending anyone (larger target market).

2.). I love BlackBerry for the same reason that I've loved it for the last 10 years; no other device provides the same level of enterprise integration as the BlackBerry does, and still versatile and fun. And let's face it, gotta love the 2 thumb typing on the great variety of BlackBerry keyboards. Common BlackBerry 10, show them what you're made of.

I have tried so many other phones and I keep finding myself running back to my BlackBerry. I absolutely love it, hands down. I live in the US and went to the extent of selling my AT&T Bold 9900 on ebay and purchasing an unlocked Rogers one just so I could get it in white. I had a white Torch previous to that, Bold 9650 before that, custom-housed Curve 8330 to begin with. BB4Life!

Hardcore" Shirt because i have been a hardcore user from the beginning. Staying true to black.

Looks ugly. I think that in both versions (thumbs-up and ultimate-Kevin-trying-to-be-badass) the hand is un-nescessary.

I would love "hardcore" but would have to go with "thumbs up" so I can sport it everywhere.

BB handles the (thousands of) messages I deal with easily. I have yet to find a platform that can do productivity as well and as efficiently as BB. And if I have spare time, I haven't had any issues finding ways to burn the time with my phone (aka productivity device) and PlayBook.

1). I'd like the "family friendly" thumbs up version.

2). Why? I use my phone as a business tool, not a toy!

2. Working in the IT field, everyone and their mother are using either Droid or Apple. I still remain a solid stand ready BB user regardless of all their persuasion to switch over, I'll be rocking my 9900 and PB till the company goes belly up. (Hopefully never) ;-)

First thing I would do with my XL Hardcore shirt is take a picture and send it to all my former co-workers who taunted me for months about my "Blackbarely" while they played on their Androids. They never convinced me to switch and now that Im in a different business (major upgrade) I cant imagine doing my job without my Bold 9930.

2. Well I thought I could leave Blackberry for an Android when I switch carrier 4 months ago, WRONG! I can not live without my Blackberry so I added a line now I have my stinking cool Blackberry Bold 9930!
