Ragged Edge free edition

You may have seen us feature Ragged Edge 3D for BlackBerry 10 some time ago - a fast paced space racing game. The full version costs £2.50/$3.99 which isn't cheap but the generous developers have now released a free edition allowing you to play the first few levels of the game at no cost.

Chances are you will want to part with your cash after playing the free version as the game is a real beauty.

Features of the full version include:

  • Amazing 3D graphics
  • 36 races on 15 tracks
  • 3 Game modes: Solo, versus (up to 86 opponents!), boarding
  • Smooth controls
  • Fascinating story written by sci-fi book author Jacques Martel

If you missed our original video review of the game you can catch up with it here.

Looks like another 10.1 only release. Verizon sucks.

Yeah that is pretty terrible but ATT hasn't been much better.

I just used this method yesterday...

Now I am updated. :) Didn't wipe out my phone, but backup just in case!

Downloading. Now that I can finally connect my BlackBerry to PayPal, to all the Devs, as long as you are not being too intrusive and asking for too many permissions, get ready to shut up and take my money :GAR:

Please stop titling articles with "fancy a ? Try !". It's repetitive.

Nice controls and graphics... does lag here and there

Cracked it out with the amazing Z

Very smooth and fast when working T it's best. Utterly unplayable when it's starts to suffer lag. Otherwise a damn good game.

No Q10. Heh.

Man someone should have edited the story line. Mistakes and typos everywhere. How do you "narrate feet"?
Great graphics and good game play except when it lags. Gave me butterflies in my stomach!

This looks like a lot of fun. I will use it along with Skype on Verizon in 2015 when we get the update. Thanks BlackBerry and Verizon for working so closely together. You are a wonderful example for all of us to follow.
