Back in October of last year, BlackBerry and Interswitch announced a new partnership to integrate payments through BBM by way of a new app called Quickteller Mini. That app, at the time, allowed BBM users with a Nigerian bank account to make a request for money, airtime and payment for services from one of their BBM contacts. A new update has now been released and it makes some improvements to the process.

This new version allows you send money or airtime, rather than waiting for the recipient to request. It's as simple as sharing a photo or file while chatting with a contact on BBM. To send or receive money from BBM, download the Quickteller Mini app, tap the Quickteller Mini icon in BBM and send your BBM contacts a message with the payment details. They respond to the BBM and the money is transferred. Quickteller Mini saves you having to carry cash. Just click to make easy and quick payments. It really couldn't be simpler!

The Quickteller Mini app is now available via free download from BlackBerry World, Google Play Store and Apple's App Store or users can also visit bbm.quickteller.com for more information and instructional videos about Quickteller Mini.
