Seriously looking at the droid hard lately. RIM better step this up quick. storm83 could be droid83 soon.

The Blackberry Community has a lot to look forward to in the upcoming year. We've got opengl graphics and flash to look forward to, and that's not including widgets. This is great news.

I'm personally convinced that Flash is the current root of most bad browser behavior. While I want to be able to access Flash sites on my Storm, I worry about the resources a Flash platform is going to consume.

Supposedly, the newer version of Flash should consume wayyy less resources than the current.

^ I agree with you about the consumption of resouces and Flash, but i would imagine that they would be aware of this and *hopefully* make adjustsments so that we can still multitask and run flash...looking forward to the CS5 integration...This will open up a whole new world of Themes.

my major concern is how bad will flash deplete app memory? and this is all great news, but how long until we actually see it?

I just purchased my Blackberry Storm 9530 on Oct and I don't want to have to buy a new one just for Flash. I'd really love to be able to enjoy streaming flash video like youtube and other video sites. This could be a way for artists to really make money from streaming content. I already use my Blackberry storm to monitor The Legacy using flycast which is my classic Rock/Progressive Rock station while I'm away to make sure everything is going great there.
