OOOOO... good news for theme developers here. RIM has released a patch for the Plazmic 4.7 Content Development Kit that addresses some issues with the previous official release:
A new CDK 4.7 bundle is available that fixes a few issues found in the released software. This includes the changing of all the icons and doing an export causing a crash and export of animated sequences being off.
If you're a theme maker, you better grab the new version of Plazmic asap!
I don't see any major in this release. Everything looks pretty much the same. Still not able to change the landscape call screen or the keyboard highlight color.
I thought a patch was a small installation that would fix things. You actually have to re-download the whole CDK again and they still have the old date on the download page so I wasn't even sure it was new.
Then I downloaded it and it seems the same! I guess there are some small bugs fixed, but nothing major.
I was wondering the same thing. It says patch yet there is no patch??????
What was the old version number??? I forgot to check. The new one is 4.1.0.19... Dated April 3rd, 2009. Is this the patched version number?
I forgot to check before I installed too. The fact that it says April 3rd says to me that it is a new version. Who knows?

this fixes my issue with none of the normal zen home screen icons apearing in plazmic and rendering an exported theme useless. at least the beta worked.
I couldn't find the newer version :-(
Once you go to Plazmic's site you need to click the download button and go to Blackberry's website, fill in the personal info and then download the full release... they don't have just a patch... I wish it was just a small file, but it's not.
had this on my storm, had do do a wipe and forgot to back up all my 3rd party apps... would love this back!
This is quite possible the best statistics manager on the phone. great way to keep track of battery condition and memory leakage.
As the post says I sure hope that I can change the icons that were not changable in the last version. Maps, Docs to Go just to name 2.
Any word on the simulator getting updated? Now there is a program I would love to have work.

im new to plazmic but i think i got the hang of it ,.... even thou i still have prob then attempting to to test my theme it gives me and error and ask to reload ..
For heavens sake, to load 228mb for the sake of a couple bytes of code is ridiculous. Somebody needs to wake up.
