Plants vs. Zombies returns from the dead on BlackBerry 10

The game's all about second chances, right?

After a bit of a false start, the classic strategy game Plants vs. Zombies is available for BlackBerry 10 again for $2.99. It's only out in Canada, Japan, and the U.S. for the time being, but it's safe to assume wide geographic reach shortly. Sorry, no Q10 support by the looks of it.

For those unfamiliar, Players Plants vs. Zombies puts players in the defense of their home during a zombie apocalypse. The weapon of choice? A taste selection of yard plants. Those plants will knock out zombies in a variety of different ways on their own, but you'll have to be mindful of the zombies' various offensive abilities. Pole vaults, screen doors, snorkels, and football gear are all at their disposal, but so long as you keep gathering sunshine points and plant on the right rows, you should be fine.

Plants vs. Zombies is still a ton of fun, even after being out for years. If you haven't worn out the PlayBook version, be sure to check this one out.

Damn 4 firsts that's awesome....
I have PvZ HD on my iPad i got it for free during a promo but it's $0.99 as we speak so for 2.99 it's not that bad

do we have to buy again? (not complaining just won't bother downloading then since I've played through most of it already)

It appears so, shame too cuz it's not much work porting over a PB game to BB10. If it was a redesign, or built from the ground up, I could see it, but otherwise, meh.

Yeah wtf man I already have this game on my PlayBook and paid full price, I'm not paying again for a game I already completed, this has to get fixed....

I giggle every time I read a 1st post and laugh even harder at the people who allow this to bother them to the point the need to post a bitch about it - relax 1st haters you'll live longer.

This is a step in the right direction EA, now NBA JAM let's get it already!

I've tried side loading this but all I get is a black screen no matter how long I wait.

This is weird! I got this game back on February 10 and days after when I checked for update, it was pulled out of BBW. All I can remember is that it was a Pop Cap game and re checking BBW now, first it says it is unavailable for my device and that is EA game...?

Wooo finally, downloading here in the UK. Prefer the iphone version as it more features ie zen garden. Even the version on my s3 is pretty basic compared to the ios version.

No BlackBerry 10 in Japan and im crying for a native Japanese ime, and this Game comes in Japan but not here in Germany?

I really love BlackBerry, not only BB10, but the all around release philosophy with Country's, Devices and Mobile carrier, are really really Strange and would scare new BlackBerry user i think :)

Best Greetings

Sada :)

Anyway, love this game and want to promote BB 10 development so bought this. Good as ever, but is anyone having a bug of no music?

I don't get it??? I have to purchase the same freakn game over again??? I supported these jerks and downloaded it on my Play Book . This should be free on my amazing Z10!Apple and DROID markets don't do this to their customers. May not seem like a big deal but it's these little liberties app developers take on BlackBerry fans that mess up the user experience.
