Forgive me for asking this but will there be any new features with BIS 2.4 or could this be in preperation for OS 4.5?
Bla1ze Jun 6, 2008 at 1:11 pm
BIS 2.4 has been out for a while now, everything at this point is leading up to the North American upgrade to BIS 2.5 and support for 4.5/4.6 OS'es...Asia Pacific had their BIS 2.5 upgrade the other night.

That's some pretty serious outage time. Could this mean they are implementing some things on their server to get ready for 4.5? :)

what timezone does EDT stand for? Is it Canadian or something?

Why bother fixing 2.4, they should just release 2.5 already.

EDT=Eastern Daylight Time. i.e. UTC -4
Anonymous Jun 7, 2008 at 1:12 pm
oh....so same thing as EST (eastern standard time); just east coast time
Anonymous Jun 7, 2008 at 1:43 pm
No, it's not the same. Eastern "Daylight" time is different, as it is an hour different than Eastern "Standard" Time. It's the summer, man!

When there is an outage that affects BIS users, is it just mail and PIN messages or does that also include internet browsing (was always confused about what was considered BIS service). The reason I ask is that I was able to check the score of the the SUI/CZE and POR/TUR games and didn't receive any problems.
