The popular photo tweaking application, Photo Studio, has been updated to version 1.2.6 for both BlackBerry 10 and legacy devices. With filters and borders being all the rage now (and us on Team BlackBerry not having an official Instrgram app) Photo Studio is a great tool for giving your photos an extra slice of goodness.

There is both a free and Pro version of the app. Which you go for is going to be dependent on personal usage, although I would certainly recommend trying the free version and see how you get on. If you missed our hands on video with the app you can catch up here

New features in the update include:

For all:

  • Special Effects Pack 3
  • New templates in Picframes

BlackBerry 10:

  • Lens Boost
  • Resize tool
  • Change areas, replace in Picframes
  • Crop ratios support

BlackBerry OS:

  • Levels tool

I am looking for an app for my Z10 to - more or less automatically - have my company logo on all pictures. Can Photo Studio do this? Any other apps you would recommend for this? Thanks.

Just found an app called PhotoFirmaLite... you might wanna try that first if it meets your requirements. It's free on BlackBerry World.

Picshop has an option to layer images onto a photo. That might work for you. Check it out ;)

I love my BlackBerry Z10 ;)

Picshop pro does it, only in the aspect of being able to paste am image including transparency. You can resize and rotate, an position where you want it. I don't think it will batch apply then to all photos though.

Yeah, I can't believe I wasted my money on PhotoStudio Pro when it couldn't even do something as simple as add text to a photo. PicShop is where it's at.

Signed via my weapon of choice, Z10.

I bought the Pro version of this for my 9850 and love it. Still getting used to it on the Z10, but it is easy to use and has a lot of features.
