PETCO has launched a new mobile-optimized site for online shopping and pet care. The site can be accessed from any mobile device and features a store locator, product descriptions, customer reviews and more. The new site, powered by Digby, aims to help pet lovers keep in touch when on the go.

"With mobile shopping adoption increasing so rapidly, PETCO is expanding into the mobile channel at the right time," said Dave Sikora, President and CEO of Digby. "PETCO's new mobile site will help the company build even stronger personal connections with pet parents who seek and appreciate the convenience of mobile shopping and information. We're also pet lovers at Digby, so the partnership with PETCO is a special one for us. We look forward to helping PETCO ensure its long-term mobile strategy is a success."

To access the PETCO mobile site just head to from your mobile browser.

PETCO launches new mobile-optimized site

I am so tired of these "mobile sites". All they do is look crappy and take loger to navigate, as well as being more cumbersome. With a good browser like opera or even the new RIM browser, who the heck cares?!

I dont complain about a mobile site. Many have popped up, I don't want a device full of apps since I dont need them. A bookmark in my browser is more than enough for me than an app in my opinion.
