PAC-MAN is celebrating his birthday with a sale in BlackBerry World

By Adam Zeis on 20 May 2014 03:04 pm EDT

In honor of his birthday (tomorrow), PAC-MAN is now on sale in BlackBerry World for just $0.99 — down from the standard $3.99. At this price, it's much more palatable to grab the arcade classic for your BlackBerry OS or BB10 device without feeling too guilty about it.

PAC-MAN is still one of my favorite games of all time, as I'm sure it is many others. It's easy to pick up and play when you have a few minutes of downtime, or sit back for a longer session while Inky, Pinky, Blinky and Clyde chase you down. Plus, this one supports Bluetooth controller input for that extra arcade feel.

  • Your classic yellow hero in the palm of your hand
  • Master levels and unlock new ones
  • 256 levels are included!
  • PAC-MAN and his 4 foes are chomping into your phone!
  • Chomp dots, outrun ghosts, and relive the arcade action

The sale is live now and we're not sure for how long, so go get it while the gettin' is good!

there is a virtual controller located at the bottom of the screen, you glide you're finger up,down, left or right to move your Pacman, it's actually a pretty good controlling game

I like an older Android one best (I have a couple of older Bars) as it's got a virtual knob control like the old machines. I find it (v1.0.6 I believe) the most authentic rendition, and it was free :)

Just it bring back old memories, didn't experienced the crash that other folks are talking about,

Pac-Man, sure I guess that's cool & all, but I keep coming to CrackBerry hoping to read news about great new apps, but all the BB10 platform keeps getting is games, games and more games it seems.

Starting to get really annoying that no one makes useful apps for BB anymore.

The core OS is great, but I want to see more support for banking apps, news apps, shopping apps for specific stores, apps that allow you to control your cable box (Xfinity) and things like the Square Register app so that I can swipe customers credit cards.
