Wow! First time I see the recent OS coming from my provider!
Too bad I use the Bold 9900

this is probably going to sound like the most stupid question....but is this a universal update or just Indosat mobile users ?
togardergrosse Nov 14, 2011 at 5:53 pm
Officially, it's only for Indosat Torch 9860 user.
But u can download the update files and use it on ur Torch 9860, regardless the carrier that u use.

what were the problems with the keyboard before? picking up the '60 on thursday. :)

I don't have any issues with the keyboard at all running on the official att build.

Accuracy for one. Typing in portrait is very narrow. Let's put it this way I miss my old qwerty keyboard. This is a media power house but not for the impatient that need to crank out a lot of email, bbm and everything else that needs typing.

So far so good on my Telus 9860!

Just loaded the new update now. It took about 30 minutes. My 9860 was experiencing a ton of issues from the escape and menu keys not working to phone calls not being heard and the list goes on. While it is too early to tell, my initial impression is that things seem to be working faster with no lag. It will take a while for all those memory leaks to catch up but I will keep you posted. This is on the Rogers network.
