That would be like installing it in your Commodore Vic 20. It won't work.

DoCoMo, I immediately thought of FoMoCo when I saw that, lol. Yah, my brain is stuck on "car guy" mode...

how can i install this update on a mac?? I have now v7.1.0.342 and my bb desktop software says my device is allready up to date.

Hi- I apologize for an elementary question. I just bought a new unlocked 9900 (English language is default) and would like to use Japanese input. I was wondering if I install this ROM, it will contain the Japanese language input, or if that's a different ROM/install? If you would be able to help me with this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I've got a question. If I download a BlackBerry Bold 9900 ROM, can I take any carrier ROM I want or does it have to be the one my phone belongs to? Seems to make sense to take a carrier free one (stock firmware) but I can't seem to find any, like I can for Android devices...
