Vodafone DE has officially released OS 7.1.0.825 for the BlackBerry Bold 9900. While this is an official release, remember to use caution when updating your device. I'm done with the updates for the 9900. With BB10 almost here my wife will get my phone and I'm not loading up another OS for her lol.

Downloading the file to my blackberry, then I'll be using my desktop or tablet pc, or netbook once I get my netbook's power supply back from lending it to a neighbor, so I can get this lovely blackberry bold 9900 updated. :)

Everything is perfect....but my BBM won't restore, it's says restoring but nothing is happening, any suggestions?

For some reason, I cannot switch to 2G (EDGE) - I don't have good 3G receiption at home... Also, I charged my phone over night as I always do, but was only able to use it for about 30 min this morning and the battery died....

I was on the 7.1 os that was released for thailand and my cell worked all this time very well. A few days ago I updated it to the new ATT OS and it began to reboot by itself. Also I feel the battery won't last as before. I used to chat and check fb very often and still get home with a bit of charge, now I have to take the charger to work.

Any idea all this could happen?

Guys, there's already a newer update: BlackBerry Handheld Software v7.1.0.2364 (Asia) for Bold 9900, it's from Telecom NZ.

Was fine to begin with. Now starting to freeze ALOT which is annoying especially if bouncing from one program to another. Battery life is quite good and the same as compared to previous OS.
