so far so good. love app monitor, u can star emails. brightness saves on the settings u select. sorry tmobiles version wouldnt. also seems like my screen is brighter even at 10 or could just be me. me liking it big time

but this is all on at least my 7.1s before ;)
When it's brighter at 10, it does not mean it is more efficient with your battery ;)
using 7.1.0.569 and it's running very good.
1% idle drain, heaven!

I've been sticking with .569 too. When I tried .649 I couldn't add words to the word substitution dictionary, so I rolled back because I like that functionality.

What was wrong with your music player? I've got a Bold 9900 as well and I got this really annoying screeching kind of sound if I ever paused then played a song. Is that the same problem you had?
RubenDM Oct 9, 2012 at 4:32 pm
Well, looks like it's solved.!! When i was listening to my music ,it got stuck a lot. I could see the time running but no sound came out of the speaker. Also i could not go to another song because it freezed when i tried to go out of my music player. When i just pushed the 'red'phone on/of button sometimes it went on fine again. But most of the times it needed a Bpull...for now ,after 3 hours of music it did not get stuck...so seems fine for now.
It really feels ...flowish :p haha ! Fast and responsive !

Can you add words to "Word substitution" in Options?
Ant Skrebsky Oct 9, 2012 at 4:42 pm
...and still no mention of the O2 UK update that I successfully installed into my fabulous 9900 already on Sunday last week... never mind....:-/

Is there a point in putting this OS on your device if you've already upgraded to the unnoficial release of .714, would the upgrade even register in the desktop manager? My experience with .714 has been awesome so far though (leaked release obviously)

For it's proper steps you can also search for it on Google. You will get many ideas and guess it will help.

Just updating my 9900 now (Ireland) and hoping functions like wi-fi calling will be unblocked by my carrier (Vodafone) but I know it's not likely to happen...
