Any clues on what is changing between this and the last known official release for 9930 by Sprint? I expected that level of detail from the folks who call themselves BlackBerry experts!

It was reported here on Crackberry about two Months ago that Verizon was testing the build hope it released this week.

In response to your question. I went to the Verizon store to inquire about an update because I was concerned about abnormal battery drain and wanted to verify the latest official OS. The Verizon store reps were ABSOLUTELY worthless. No help at all. In fact the woman said they just don't sell any Blackberries. I guess because they push those crappy android phones. Anyway, she tokd me to call *611 to talk to tech support. They verified the latest version for the phone (.163) and she actually got on the phone with BlackBerry. They told her they are working on an update right now but don't have a release date. This was last Sunday. I hope there is an update very soon...

please help me anyone, where is the link? did someone have the link?
herrbremerhaven Jul 24, 2012 at 6:36 pm
Finally did the over the air update. Seemed like it took forever. Glad I didn't have to reinstall any apps. Seems like it works a bit better, because I was getting a screen bug that would randomly make icons invisible on my task bar. I won this 9930 from the Bold A Day contest, and so far I like the quickness more than my 9650, but I don't like the battery life.
