This better work. The last 9900 os was corrupt
Blty Mar 28, 2012 at 3:37 pm
Yes, the last one from Tmo did consume so much battery...
Nightfox111 Mar 28, 2012 at 4:12 pm
The TMO one was the first leaked OS7 / 7.1 that caused my 9900 to lockup. All the leaked versions worked fine except for TMO.
patmur2010 Mar 28, 2012 at 4:17 pm
downloaded and installed but having trouble getting desktop manager to recognize...
little help, i've done this almost with every bold release except the previous TMO one (looked too complicated)
deleted one vendor file
restarted pc as prompted, running win7 64bit. what am i missing?

Make sure you delete both Vendor files
See here: http://bit.ly/xeDJBT
patmur2010 Mar 28, 2012 at 4:35 pm
That did it, installing now. I had did another search for 'vendor' from C: in windows and it found the second file.
thanks.

I installed an hour or so ago and everything seems to be working all right. Give it a couple of days and we'll see how things go. Hoping the battery life is better but we'll see and of course as usual no 2G selection mode for AT&T just 4G.
dazingla Mar 28, 2012 at 7:14 pm

Does this os fix the issues with media playback? Where all media will not play and u have to restart phone everytime. Or when u playing music, and u get a call, music doesn't start playing again..

Also, my nfc setup was wiped, I had to register my shortcuts touch again and nfc shortcuts. Product keys easily found on app world.
Have to resetup my nfc tags. I only have 3 so no big deal but be aware, unless I did something wrong.

J-MIKE Mar 28, 2012 at 9:30 pm
Podcast wasn't working for me either. I could open the app... but it would'nt sync until I click on the option "hide" while trying to sync. now it is working fine. Might want to try that.

anyone having issues with the BB Protect? seems the new T&C just came up and asking for you to accept it before the protect can be restarted. mine is just stuck in the loop, doesn't wanna restart at all..
*** update: just performed a hard reboot (for the 5th time today.. after few battery pulls to settle the OS) and yeah, the new BB Protect's T&C eventually appeared (to be longer than before..), got it accepted and seems it's up & normal now.
