Thanks, that's cool !
But the link seems broken ... :)
louboutins Mar 5, 2012 at 2:49 pm
No it's not. Worked for me.
Superfly_FR Mar 6, 2012 at 3:07 am
Link's ok now. No DL for me.
I'll rely on bellow links thanks to the reposts !
OniPod Mar 5, 2012 at 11:12 pm
The link works, it's just that 7.1 was pulled from the site for that carrier. Not sure why.
mnhockeycoach99 Mar 5, 2012 at 2:37 pm
Cmon AT&T.. where is the 7.1 love for the 9900?
SC457 Mar 5, 2012 at 5:58 pm
+1 on that, wish they would release this. Don't have access to a PC to load it up.
hjkimbrian Mar 5, 2012 at 2:55 pm

I own an unbranded bold 9900 my question is if I don't install a leaked or an official carrier(at&t, Sk,bell etc...) Version, will I ever get OS 7.1 pushed to my phone?
Boldly sent from my 9900
mssca Mar 5, 2012 at 3:34 pm
Probably depend on how the system works. If your service provider supports OTA OS updates, then you may get an update pushed to the phone. But if you have to update using Download Manger, most likely you would not get an update for your phone.
I am on the leaked OS version of this with Telus branded phone. I have no issues and the battery life and the OS responsiveness of this version is great.
f1n3b01 Mar 6, 2012 at 2:24 am
Relying on my service provider is out of the question.. So no OTA update for me? Does this version have NFC enabled and such?
Boldly sent from my 9900
mssca Mar 5, 2012 at 3:31 pm
I am on leaked version of this OS and it should be the same as this one. But it would be nice if Telus release this as official one. Too bad RIM release half baked phones and come up with OS improvements later.
n8dawgz Mar 5, 2012 at 3:33 pm
Any difference between the leaked and the official OS?
Jake90087 Mar 5, 2012 at 4:09 pm
None. On some builds different languages are added but all this has over the leak I have on my 9900 is a SK Vendor.xml file.
beemir Mar 5, 2012 at 4:17 pm
what's funny is when I went to download it, everything is in Korean? anyway I managed to get the download going. I'm already running the leak so I'm just downloading it for archiving purposes, or in case I need an official version for some reason.
blackberry love Mar 5, 2012 at 4:24 pm
_H_ why can't rim just release updates for all the BBs? Is it because of the carriers?
vampireassistant Mar 5, 2012 at 5:02 pm
Hi guys,
Here is the Mediafire Link for this OS:

kps_dhillon Mar 11, 2012 at 4:12 am
how to join them?
adicktuz Mar 5, 2012 at 5:42 pm
I'm about to download the OS now, but why is the language Korean? I chose (All Languages) option but here's what showed up.
소프트웨어 이름: BlackBerry Handheld Software v7.1.0.921 (All Languages)
파일 이름: 9900jAllLang_PBr7.1.0_rel921_PL5.1.0.230_A7.1.0.267_SK_Telecom__.exe
다운로드 크기: 261 MB
언어: Korean
게시 날짜: 03/05/2012
I don't want no Korean language or characters on my phone, since I won't understand that.
vampireassistant Mar 5, 2012 at 6:23 pm
Dun worry man,
Once you had already installed this rom, u can easily uninstall these languages from your fone by using BBM. Or during the time when u install the os, u also can do so by choosing languages that u want.
keff Mar 5, 2012 at 9:56 pm
does 7.1 has better feature, memory space and battery life than 7.0?
MaxPayne79 Mar 6, 2012 at 5:07 am
yup for better features including mobile hotspot, wifi calling, ect... less memory space but who cares when the os is way faster and more stable then before. batt life is pretty much the same but considering the phone is faster, i give batt life a plus.
Trini-34 Mar 5, 2012 at 8:43 pm
Still no NFC enabled.
syoung0406 Mar 6, 2012 at 7:05 am
Uh... there is NFC for this phone. There was NFC in OS 7.0 and still exists in OS 7.1
M.T.K. Mar 5, 2012 at 9:59 pm
i am trying to install this on my rogers 9900 and i deleted the vendor file as well but it doesnt even show the option to upload this os. i tried both app loader and desktop manager.
johndoo Mar 5, 2012 at 10:49 pm

edwintg Mar 5, 2012 at 10:55 pm

Did not encountered this one before even though i don't have a memory card installed
syoung0406 Mar 5, 2012 at 11:15 pm
FINALLYYYYYY I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR SO LONG!!!!!!!
soo007 Mar 6, 2012 at 12:22 am
In terms of Berry support
SKT went from a laggard in 2010 and now is a leader leaning to pioneer.
I am a happy customer.
keff Mar 6, 2012 at 3:54 am
i got less memory space than 7.0 is that normal?
MaxPayne79 Mar 6, 2012 at 5:03 am
yup.

Does JallLang have Japanese input? I usually get the jAsia.
kjic13 Mar 6, 2012 at 8:25 am
Yes it does. Any OS with that little "j" has Japanese input always.
Ralph_ Mar 6, 2012 at 11:40 am
Just a little feedback after I installed it yesterday :
- French translation are not complete in some sections
- Battery Life is improved!! without the economy mode (i made it start at 40% but i'm still at 70% after 9 hours of use!! so better than 7.0
- I love the new functions to test the phone and the wifi Hotspot :)
So gogogo do this update withour fear!
M--Canuck Mar 6, 2012 at 10:22 pm
Not sure if anyone had a similar problem but my battery life was much worsened by updating to this 7.1 version
RIM is the best and I am a crackberry addict.
