We want to see official 7.1 OS
Go Carriers, release it.
shuabert Jan 17, 2012 at 3:54 pm
Grab the 7.1 leak. I've been using it on my 9860 for a week and it works like a charm.
bosslife Jan 17, 2012 at 8:47 pm
Same here so I can't complain @ all
chuckkdaduck Jan 17, 2012 at 10:44 am

T-Mobile Sidekick 3 > T-Mobile Sidekick (2008) > T-Mobile Sidekick LX (2009) > Curve 8520 > Bold 9700 > Bold 9900

Rogers told me that 'a new version is coming, and will solve many issues' with their OS7 devices.
RoseBud68 Jan 17, 2012 at 11:06 am
AT&T just release a new OS as well, 7.0.0.576
Ronzdaname Jan 17, 2012 at 11:09 am
I have AT&T and will not take an update from them until they stop blocking Bridge.
kdUbz Jan 17, 2012 at 11:45 am

Ronzdaname Jan 17, 2012 at 8:43 pm
Mine is okay. But it locks up constantly. I cannot get this update to load. Any thoughts?
Staaleh Jan 17, 2012 at 11:07 am
Will this OS update work on my PB?
Staaleh Jan 17, 2012 at 11:12 am
Nevermind.
I just loaded in to my PB and it works flawlessly! :P
Installing it on my 9800 next. So excited!!!
themenacexd Jan 17, 2012 at 11:44 am
Wow even carriers that I've never even heard of are releasing updates while T-Mobile leaves me at this crappy 7.0.0.250 OS... I would even be happy if they released a higher version of 7.0 at this point! This current OS sucks I mean the battery life is absurd, no wifi calling, my internet services randomly disappears until I do a battery pull and a lot of the time the GPS doesn't even work! Like seriously!? Come on T-Mobile release a damn update already!!! Going back to when people first got their 9780s back in November, 2010 and had to wait all the way until March, 2011 for them to release OS 6.0.0.448 for the 9780 and they stuck with 6.0.0.285 even though it was an absolutely horrible OS (Not to mention the fact that that's also the same time the 9700 and 9300 were also updated to BlackBerry 6 altogether) smh...
T-Mobile Sidekick 3 > T-Mobile Sidekick (2008) > T-Mobile Sidekick LX (2009) > Curve 8520 > Bold 9700 > Bold 9900

ive donwloaded it, but i dunno how to install it on my 9860 pls some1 can guideme to install it, thanx
themenacexd Jan 17, 2012 at 12:39 pm
Make sure the vendor.xml file is deleted... Also you're better off using the AppLoader than Desktop Manager.
T-Mobile Sidekick 3 > T-Mobile Sidekick (2008) > T-Mobile Sidekick LX (2009) > Curve 8520 > Bold 9700 > Bold 9900
loth Jan 17, 2012 at 3:55 pm
Thanks!, i had to delete vendor file in AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML too plus the appLoader vendor.xml now im updating! :D

It's always good to see a new OS, but 7.1 for GSM phones is long overdue.
Graheem Jan 17, 2012 at 5:14 pm
