Hot off the presses is OS 7.0.0.590 for the BlackBerry Bold 9900. If you're not running with the leaked 7.1 OS, this one may be worth a go. If you install be sure to swing by the forums and let us know what you find out. As always, use caution when installing a new OS on your device.

am having some prob with these updates. i deleted the vendor already and use the DTM but the DTM still not seeing the update. can someone help please ???

Do a system-wide search for the vendor.xml file. It is possible you will find two of them hiding in cloak. All need to be eliminated if your mission is to be successful. Go now. Waste no more time.

I am having the same problem... So frusterated with it! I have deleted vendor file and all, but the app loader or DM wont recognize the update..

As Revyrah said above, there are two "Vendor.xml" files on windows. So do system-wide search and DM will recognize the update

Hey guys, I'm from singapore but I can't find any new os updates thru my carrier. Will my phone brick if I try to install os softwares which are nt supported by muy carrier? Pls advise thanks

Hey Guys, am trying to do the software update from DM, but it keeps on freezing during the backup section, will freeze at different points and then not go any further.
By downloading above file, how would I install it onto my phone? Would be awsome if I could get a step by step on how to install and so forth onto my phone.

.590 is AWFUL!!!! constantly freezing my phone. battery lasts about 3 hours. Phone feels hot, like its working too hard. Why does RIM push out this crap?
