Entel PCS OS 7.0.0.514

Entel PCS has released OS 7.0.0.514 for the BlackBerry Curve 9380. This isn't much of a step up from the last official release we saw for this device, but new is new, right? If you install be sure to swing by the forums and let us know what you find out. Things look to be good thus far, so if you're a Curve 9380 user you may want to give this one a go. As always, use caution when installing new software on your device.

my 9930 bricked AGAIN!!!!!! When is RIM going to fix this? I'm seriously considering moving on to another platform. It's one thing to have a phone lacking in the latest media beauty but its another when you have a phone bricking for no apearrant reason. It is seriously getting old. I don't play games. onlyfree app I use is poynt and I use my phone for the simple messaging, email and calling functions which i use my playbook for 90%of media use. what can possibly be happening. Can we do something about ths guys? Put a foot up against someones neck to get this rectified? I mean I understand that they are working onthe next generation phone but if my current device keeps bricking then why would I want to invest my money into the next generation when they aren't giving me a reason to trust their current one?

I need help from crackberry to reach out to RIM because my desire to stay is seriously dwindling.

Ummmmm...ur in the wrong section bud. This is 9380 not 9930 lol. And why don't u get this phone instead? I don't have bricking problems like every 9900 owner. ;)

I mean if you are thinking of moving platform, just move, why do you want us to tell you not to move? I still don't understand why people think that if they are saying that they will move to another platform that people will rush to help them (don't want to break your fun but that's not how it work). Usually if I see someone that say they want to move, I usually ignore their request because anyway if they are thinking of moving, there is a little chance that I would be able to convince them otherwise.

While I understand your frustration with your 9930, I don't see why you are asking crackberrys to help you contact RIM, I mean their support number is here http://www.rim.com/company/contact/ that's pretty much the only think you need to contact them.

MyI appreciate the info. In all reality that is what I'm looking for. I'm not one of the digruntled blackberry owners threatning to move on. It is just me expressing how much I've loved blackberry and one of the reasons (dependability) is going out the window.

It's not like I have another platform in mind. I only like Blackberry but come on....if you have to go back to slowing down my phone so it doesn't freeze I rather have that than a phone that will out of no where for no reason just stop working.

I can't be the only person feeling this way. Not so much at the brink of moving on but at least concerned of RIM's concern with those who currently own a os7 not being forgotten for os 10

Poor 9380 this was supposed to be a space to comment about the new os and so far somebody conplains about their 9930 the other guy gives him a piece of his mind and some spam..... I love bb bold 9000… poor 9380 :(
