FYI: I posted this in another thread a few hours ago....
I've been a blackberry user for 10 years. I owned a Torch 9800 for a year, then upgraded to the 9810. I've upgraded OS's dozen's of times over the years. (just pointing this out, I'm not a newbie, I just don't post much).

Anyway, is anyone else having the following issue?

I had the 9810 running on the original AT&T os for a few weeks and had no issues with the touchscreen. Since downloading and running 7.0.0.474, I noticed what I think is a major issue. The touch screen is no longer as accurate or as responsive when touched. Sometimes I will press an icon on the home screen, it isn't acknowledged as press at all, sometimes it selects the icon next to the the one I am pressing.

So I conducted a little experiment, with the game Fruits and Ninja's (free version). For those unfamiliar with the game, you swipe your finger across the screen to slice moving fruit. When you do this, the game draws a blade from where you begin touching the screen to where you end touching the screen. Well during the experiment I was noticing the the blade is being drawn about a 1/4 inch away from where I am touching the screen or not drawing the blade at all.

Is anyone else having this issue? Can anyone else replicate it? Is there a fix other than rolling back the os? Is there a setting under touchscreen options where I can re-calibrate the touchscreen?

Lastly, there are no problems with the touchpad, its completely accurate and works normally.

........... since I posted it others have reported similar issues. To be clear, the home screen is not acting properly, I just decided to test it with other apps. The issues is sporadic, but occurs enough that it gets annoying. Again, this occurs when using the home screen, and no other apps accept the core apps are running in the background. A battery pull fixes it temporarily.

Installed this leak two days ago one day after purchasing the phone. Everything is fine for me. No issues to report. Good battery life. No touchscreen issues I have noted.

It's great that they have released the software... now we just need Telstra to release the handset this software goes with!! (I'm sure it won't be far off now they have released the OS)

I updated to this OS when it came out. The phone seems to work better with it (overall faster and better battery life). I run on AT&T.

The only issue I am having is with the Key Ring app. It will log into my account and download all the available offers, but it will not sync my cards or refresh the list.

I reated a card on the phone to see if it would load this way as supposed to download the ones at the server, but it did load either.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I did a clean OS installation when I performed the update.

Also, I tried using the carrier"s internet connection as well as two different wi-fis at different times Of the day and on different days.

The last thing I did was to sent a message to the app developer. I have not heard back from them yet.

Before this release the application worked fine. Any ideas to fix it? I will really appreciate your input. I'd hate to have to carry all my reward cards all over again.

Works fine for my 9810.. No screen problem. I tried opening the browser and use touch screen.. works normally..

The only difference I noticed is that before I have H+ and now I get 4G.

Anyone knows what's the difference between H+ and 4G signal? What difference does it make?
