Official OS 6.0.0.600 for the BlackBerry Bold 9780 and BlackBerry Pearl 3G from Vodafone

Sprint officially released OS 6.0.0.600 for the BlackBerry Bold 9650 yesterday, and here we have two more of the same for both the Bold 9780 and Pearl 3G. Vodafone has officially released OS 6.0.0.600 for these devices so if you're a Pearl 3G or Bold 9780 user get out those USB cables and try this one out. No reports of the good or bad on these just yet, so be sure to leave a comment or hit the forums for more.

The link for the Pearl 3G fails in Google Chrome, so I tried the link directly into IE and it worked!

(It seems that while I was typing the above that it works in Chrome now too, maybe a tech error at VF.de?)

I installed the version on my PC, but when I open BlackBerry Desktop Manager and click on update device, it says that no new updates are available. What steps am I doing wrong here?!

you need to delete the "vendor" file first. I already updated my bold 9780, till now didn't notice any changes.

can you please provide the path to locate the vendor file and delete it?

just go to c:/program files/common files/reseacrh in motion/app loader. then you will find 'vendor.xml' delete it and you good to go.

Installed this last night. Definitely some fixes, but seems a tad sluggish. Anyone else notice this?

everything is good but I notice one problem, every time i restart my phone, the wallpaper changes to its default. Does anyone here have the same problem?
