Happy Monday to all the Torch 9800 users. From Bharti Airtel we have a fresh official release of OS for you. This one had leaked a while back but now is an official release from a carrier, so if you were holding off on installing now you can comfortably give it a go. You can check back in the forums to see whats new in this version. As always, use caution when installing any OS on your device.

NOTE: the higher the last three number the closer it is when you know theres a new blackberry on the way (if yall didnt know)

Did you all know that android originally looked like blackberrys OS? Then copied Apple. And then Apple copied their notifications? It's a vicious cycle.

installed .576 last week and have seen huge improvements in battery life. had the official att version before and by 8pm i would always be under 40%battery. with .576 I have 65% even with heavy use i didnt hit 40. so far very stable after a few battery pulls and a long weekend of heavy use. only complaint is the small text when viewing the crackberry forums.

Finally I can say I am satisfied with the firmware I have... I'm sticking with the leaked version I have a torch w/no problems now :D
