If you are among those grabbing a BlackBerry Torch, you might wanna make sure you download this as well just so that you have it handy. AT&T has posted up the official OS 6.0.0.141 OS download for the BlackBerry Torch 9800. You can download it via the AT&T BlackBerry software page.

must have been a buggy shipment for RIM not to spell AT and T right 9800E_PBr6.0.0_rel278_PL6.4.0.64_A6.0.0.141_AT_amp_T.exe so the update got push fast.
Now all eyes on the torch and off the other BBs.
I can't wait til they release os 6 for the BlackBerry Bold. geez i'm tired of waiting!
like working class said, this is a hard copy incase you need to format or reinstall or got another phone, just for ER is great. so far so good, i just enjoy the feeds on OS 6

I've actually download the OS 6.0 theme(first theme i tried) and its pretty cool, i'm diggin the new layout and setup. Can't wait til they come out with an upgrade so my 9700 can be official.
What about the Bold 9650? I want BB OS6...

wasn't this OS supposed to be around 256mb? or is the downloadable file compressed to more than half its size?

That's great new for them. But what about the rest of us whose phones are OS6 ready? How long do we have to wait for the latest? They tell us our devices are ready to rock the latest OS, but not just yet. That's right RIM, sell the new device and forget those who've already invested money in your products. Great customer relations policy. You're no different from the rest of the manufacturers who only think about the profits. Forget about those who are loyal to your product line. Keep that mindset and you won't have much of a profit to worry about. So how long do we wait for OS6? Are you throwing darts at a calendar or what?
I got my Torch yesterday morning and it came with 6.0.0.141 installed already...
Well that's good because that's what everyone else's came with too. TThis is here for those of us that might switch OS or we brick our phone and want to reload the original OS or just for our OS collection. Pay attention!

This OS was released for users like me who made a mistake and deleted facebook or other apps off of the phone. You can even get the right app in the app world so download the OS all torch users incase you loose something
that os 6 starts off at 6.0.0.141 and is a brand new os where as most official os5.0 versions are like 5.0.0.300+ where as it is basically the same as 4.6!
seems they took lot less time getting this os right and so hopefully we wont see too many unnecessary updates when it comes out for the other devices!

So I can't download this OS 6 link on my Blackberry Bold 9700? Would it not work or not be capatable?
