If you're still rocking an 8350i you'll be happy to know that Telus has officially released OS 5.0. Not the biggest news, but if you're work-issued device is your old standby then the upgrade is ready to roll. You can grab it officially from Telus right now and keep your device running strong. As always, use caution when installing any OS. Download from the link below.
Long time since I've seen any news about the 8350i.

Would be nice if they would push out one last one for the 8330 too :) God I hate Canada's three year contracts.

After 3 weeks of he!! with 5.0.0.807 I may have to downgrade. Overall there are many enhancements that make me keep trying to solve the one BIG problem. The ring tones quit working at random times and appear to not exist if you hunt for the files. An error that the media device is in use appears if you try to access the ring tones. A battery pull or any kind of reset or soft boot will bring the ring tones back. No answers on the web so far.
