As spotted in the forums, if you are on TELUS and fanatical about running nothing but a carrier released OS you can now get your hands on OS 5.0.0.442. Previously leaked then released on other carriers this one has been around for a while now. But, not everyone likes to run non official, non carrier released OS' so enjoy.

Can you view more than 4 thumbnails per row? Cause last I checked, 442 had no option to change the 4 per row to say 8.

You can stop posting rapidshare links for this. It's an official OS from blackberry.com. No need to spend your time uploading it to rapidshare, it's not going anywhere. :)

Been using this for a few days now on my Telus 9700 on a BES and it works great, no issues and it doesn't have that new change to the lock button like the new leaks.

anyone else that upgraded from .344 find .442 faster for loading apps and just the overall interface of your bb? I'm also finding im getting better signal and data speeds.

Shame on you telus 442? I installed 545 and wouldn't down grade to this Os. With 545 everything loads faster.

I dont trust it. Deleting vendor files and all that stuff. Too scary for me dont want to brick my device as I am out of warranty and I have never done leak install before
