Bold 9000 OS 5.0.0.1306

Some more officialy OS goodness today as we have OS 5.0.0.1036 for both the Bold 9000 and Curve 8520. Good to see things are still getting improved for both these devices. Some reports are in on both devices in the forums, so if you install be sure to swing by and let us know your findings. Download links below so get on it while the gettin' is good!

RIM is in the hot seat now the fact that phones released a year ago didn't get OS 6 they will have to support these phone more than they normally did for older phones as I see it as there way of making up for shafting a bunch of there user base

Verizon has 8530, and as u prolly know. They do things on their own schedule. But, itd be nice to know if this update will work with 8530 devices?

If I remember correctly, I think I did load an "8520" OS onto my 8530 on time, but I don't remember if I really did.

My BESx is showing that this version of software is not listed in the device or vendor xml files.

is it working with other carriers? i downloaded it and installed it but my desktop software isn't seeing it. how do i install this one? thanks

mine wasn't picking it up either. but i had forgotten to delete the vendor.xml

but my problem is that it picks up the update but it wont install it saying some component haven't been resolved or something to that effect.
any one else having that problem?
