Curve 8530 users get another official update, this time courtesy of Sprint. OS 5.0.0.1030 is now available for download. The builds just keep getting bigger on these OS 5 releases and it seems like there is an endless supply. Some reports are in the forums on this one so far, so if you install be sure to visit the thread or leave a comment with your findings. As always, use caution when installing any OS.

Waiting for it's brother (the 8520) to get another official OS!! The .900 hasn't been good for me so far! Congrats for the 8530 users out there

I got this update 2 days ago and it still didn't fix my bedside mode. I really miss that feature other than that i think everything works the same.
Is it going to work on 8300 curve ?
YEA THIS UPDATE IS OFFICIAL IT FIXED MY BATTERY ISSUE, BEFORE MY BATTERY BARELY HELD A CHARGE BUT I UPDATED TO THIS AND LEFT IT OFF THE CHARGER ALL NIGHT AND IT STILL HAD A LIL JUICE LEFT......MAKE SURE YALL UPGRADE
This update just killed BBM for me. Keep getting a java error. Going back to .6???
is there any way to upgrade from the blackberry itself instead of online? and what are other pros of the new OS?
