hmmmm :/
joshua.worth Dec 16, 2010 at 1:18 pm
This is absurd!!!!
stackberry369 Dec 16, 2010 at 1:26 pm
Come on sprint, stop being a grinch.
jaeburg Dec 16, 2010 at 1:27 pm
I'm getting the feeling that we won't see the official OS 6 until mid 2011. Sprint is always light years behind.
crim9311 Dec 16, 2010 at 6:29 pm
Actually, sprint is usually one of the first carriers to have an os available. If you wanna bet THAT far behind try verizon. lol.
Alpha Omega Dec 17, 2010 at 9:10 am
When i had my 8330 on Sprint they were always behind, even verizon.
pkcable Dec 16, 2010 at 1:30 pm
One would certainly think with this JUST becoming official that 6.0 is going to be a while.
mb7ny23 Dec 16, 2010 at 1:37 pm
Will this work on Verizon??
pkcable Dec 16, 2010 at 1:48 pm
Yes it will, you just need to delete the vendor.xml file
cheechorama Dec 16, 2010 at 1:37 pm
IMO, crap like this is pushing even the most loyal Blackberry fans away from the platform.
Alpha Omega Dec 17, 2010 at 9:16 am
It's not RIM's fault its the service providers. RIM provides the OS to the service provider. It's up to the service provider when to release after there testing of the OS on that device. It would be nice to get 1 massive OS release, but that will not happened cause RIM has so many different devices on so many networks.
yeahboyyy Dec 16, 2010 at 1:45 pm
lol.....
.333 is solid enough to be released officially and from what I hear .413 is lurking out there and it is ready for an official release. Instead sprint wastes our time with this?
Dear Sprint/Verizon and whoever else carries the 9650, we don't want to see another OS from you unless it has the numbers '6.0'
madamemonday Dec 16, 2010 at 1:48 pm
I disagree. .333 has been way buggier than .280 ever was, and I wouldn't want to see it released officially.
i2ollingstone Dec 16, 2010 at 5:01 pm
.333 is crap. I need to reboot 4 times a day and my battery life is horrendous. This official 5.0 is disheartening.
green_ember Dec 16, 2010 at 5:04 pm
I don't need to reboot at all. 333 does it for me. A lot. At the same times EVERY day...
always_On_point Dec 16, 2010 at 1:50 pm
This is madness! I say the official release 6.0 will no longer be giving until next year 2011. I sure hope a leak is on its way and elighten my bb 9650 lol
madamemonday Dec 16, 2010 at 1:50 pm
My husband will be happy to see this (as he doesn't plan on upgrading to 6.0 until an official release) but this makes me grumpy. I'm really tired of the random reboots, especially while using the camera, on .333. Getting ready to downgrade to .280 because at least that one was pretty stable on my phone.
green_ember Dec 16, 2010 at 5:14 pm
In 333, when I close the camera, I frequently get a Device Error white screen and reboot. Also, some of my pictures have errors in them where very noticeable colored lines appear like there was an error in writing the files or something. I can't wait for the next 6.0 build
madamemonday Dec 16, 2010 at 7:45 pm
I get the Device Error problem too, but I haven't had the pictures screw up on me. :/ How awful, I'm sorry you have to deal with that.
aznchris1#cb Dec 16, 2010 at 1:55 pm
I got OS 6 on my Bold 9650.
fanton Dec 16, 2010 at 2:12 pm
From what vendor ??
joshua.worth Dec 16, 2010 at 2:24 pm
Of course
silverkrab Dec 17, 2010 at 4:50 pm
Is there n e way for me to get OS 6 on my bold 9650? Or r u just special and cool like that?
knuckles937 Dec 16, 2010 at 2:05 pm
Absurb this is! I bought the 9650 because I knew it would run OS6. Sprint needs to get it together! I'm tired of Blackberry fans being put on the backburner. Behind droid and windows phones. There's still a huge blackberry following and it's about time its realized.
aznchris1#cb Dec 16, 2010 at 2:17 pm
Im on Blackberry fan that is not on the backburner. :)
aznchris1#cb Dec 16, 2010 at 2:17 pm
i meant ONE *
aznchris1#cb Dec 16, 2010 at 2:21 pm
I didnt get it from any vendor. I got off a Leak from some website..
Devon2000 Dec 16, 2010 at 3:05 pm
you need to make your way over to www.driphter.com, they have OS.6 hybrids and they work perfectly
vontez Dec 16, 2010 at 3:48 pm
Agreed! I'm running Willyboy 8.3, and it is much more stable than .333 was for me. If you are into hybrids and having nagging issues with .333, it's worth a look!
freekshow Dec 16, 2010 at 3:50 pm
Dunno what to think. OS6 and its leaks did not impress me like I hoped it would. It seemed like it took a lot more steps to do anything that I could have done with OS5 quicker. I am in no rush for OS6 now and may play around with this one for awhile. For all those waiting for OS6 , new phones will be out by the time that comes out so just get the new phone and have the latest and greatest :-)
Bkmike23 Dec 16, 2010 at 4:08 pm
Hopefully this will stop the random reboots that i've been having with the previous OS
npunk42 Dec 16, 2010 at 4:57 pm
A step backward. Just because its "fresh".
jrome3sa Dec 16, 2010 at 6:30 pm
I had radio dropping issues on the last release. I think this current release fixed that problem.
race587 Dec 16, 2010 at 9:21 pm
333 has worKed great on both my 9650's.. Best phone I've had....
jbaile07 Dec 16, 2010 at 10:07 pm
.333 was great but everytime i updated service books i had to reload my old os5 books. Bummed! Oh well, I cant write an OS so i'll wait!
