If you have been waiting for the early-rumored Office Depot to make the BlackBerry PlayBook available then today is your day. The office retailer is now accepting pre-orders for the tablet that is set to release on April 19th. Same details apply on this one - you can grab the 16GB, 32GB or 64GB versions for $499, $599 and $699. The PlayBook will ship between April 19th and April 21st if you go the delivery route, or you can pick up in stores on release day. So if Best Buy and Staples aren't your thing, head over to the link below and get your order on.

It is all about Staples, there are coupons out there to be had and free shipping, Best Buy does not have free shipping, don't buy from them!

I can't wait to see it in person. The more points of purchase there are, the less chance I'm going to have to fight someone to play with one

One per business/household.... Hmm.. Expecting a rush??

I am impressed with RIM's ability to get this thing in so many retailers, major electronic stores, office supplies stores and carriers (at least, here in Canada). I can't think of another tablet being sold everywhere like the PlayBook. Hopefully, this helps the sales.

Well we have not seen them get it into any stores yet...kidding. I agree very long list of locations in the US as well.

Staple is not charging shipping for purchase over $50

Hmm I was so excited when the Best Buy pre-order came that I just assumed I'd get it delivered by April 19th, now I'm thinking It will only ship on the 19th.

Does anyone know if I can change my order from shipped to pick up in store now? Thanks.

Translation: The tepid response from our previous pre-order partners requires that we add vendors in order to move units before reviews are published, reviews we know will discuss the awful battery life (for which we have yet to provide any specific figures on our own web page) and minimal capabilities of the PlayBook, as well as the fact that though it was announced seven months ago, it's incredibly rushed. Sincerely, RIM.

I can't wait to get one, I've been waiting and I'm a loyal blackberry user. That said, I have a hard time swallowing the price increase of $100 for a mere 16 extra gigs of hard drive. Seems like a gouge.
