By now it's no surprise that I absolutely adore themes and all of the inventive ways developers manipulate the stock design to create their own work of art. One such popular developer, The World of Pootermobile, has a solid reputation for releasing crisp and lively designs. While they have been relatively quiet the last couple of months working on their own BB10 application with Kisai Labs (and their free theme), no doubt their fans are suffering withdrawal waiting for another premium design. That is why Pootermobile recently released Illum, a brand new concept that is clean, fresh, and certainly one to lift those winter blues..

BlackBerry Theme Studio 7.1 Beta leaked

If you're a BlackBerry Theme developer this is probably a little bitter sweet but alas, BlackBerry Theme Studio 7.1 Beta has now leaked and is available for download. If you recall, RIM was working on this release for a while before deciding that it wasn't really up to par and ultimately not worth the time and effort given BlackBerry 10 was around the corner.

That said, if you're still building themes this would certainly be worth a look given you don't mind dealing with whatever massive bugs are sure to be remaining in this release. Hit the source link below to grab the download, you will need an account.

When it comes to my display, I admit I lurk around the forums searching for themes and wallpapers to keep things fresh. For the past couple of weeks I've been eagerly waiting the release of a brand new theme by CJH that has been the subject of numerous posts in the what does your BlackBerry screen look like forum.

Bursting on to the scene with his inventive, functional, and visually appealing designs I've featured quite a few in the theme roundup. With all the buzz surrounding his latest release, Chic Dock, my theme addiction was finally appeased now that it is finally available in BlackBerry App World.
