It looks like UK retailer Phones 4U are having a purge on selling the BlackBerry Curve 9320 just prior to January 30th's BlackBerry 10 launch event. The device was already at a sweet spot of £99.99 on Pay As You Go but as an incentive to get people through the door the above poster was spotted today and as you can see that at £59.95 the BlackBerry Curve 9320 is a real steal.

The BlackBerry Curve 9320 has been widely available for some time now, but any Bell customers looking to grab one will be able to do so on January 11th according to a leaked internal doc. The entry-level Curve 9320 is sporting a 3.2MP camera, wifi, Bluetooth, GPS and FM Radio and should be $199 no-term.

Vodafone UK offering up a discount on the BlackBerry 9320

Vodafone UK is offering up a £10 discount on a wide range of Pay-As-You-Go smartphones on the run up to Christmas and this includes the popular BlackBerry Curve 9320. Where Vodafone has a slight advantage over some of the other carriers is that they sell the budget BlackBerry in five different colors - black, white, classic blue, vivid violet and pink.

The device will set you back £120 with the discount, which is pretty reasonable. For consumers on a budget, the BlackBerry Curve 9320 will give you the whole BlackBerry experience without breaking the bank. With Christmas just over a week away this could be perfect for a gift? The 9320 comes packed with the latest version of the OS - BlackBerry 7.1 and obviously it is perfect for social media, email and BBM just to name a few features. And not forgetting the glorious hardware keyboard.

BlackBerry Curve 9320 allegedly explodes and sets fire to bed

In the WTF news of the day, a family in the UK is claiming that a new BlackBerry Curve 9320 allegedly exploded and set fire to a bed. 11 year-old Kian McCreath says the Curve 9320 exploded and set fire to his bed, leaving burns on his legs. The device was reportedly removed from the charger and placed on the bed before it "exploded" and burst into flames. Kian and his family are looking for RIM to recall the device.

We've heard plenty of stories like this in the past, and given the amount of BlackBerry devices that haven't exploded, take it for what it's worth. The root cause is most likely another issue like a bad/knock-off battery and not the device itself.

Thinking of buying a BlackBerry Curve 9320 for Christmas in the UK? Tesco Mobile has a great deal on at the moment.

I was taking a casual look through the current UK carrier pricing for the BlackBerry Curve 9320 the other day when I came across what I consider to be a rather generous deal by Tesco Mobile. The price of the BlackBerry Curve 9320 on pay as you go is a respectable £125, but in addition the company are offering some rather nice extras which include the triple credit tariff. If you have not used Tesco Mobile before don't be put off as they run off the O2 network. In fact, I had a sim only deal with them for a year and was more than happy.

Another internal doc is showing a release date of 10/24 has surfaced citing the BlackBerry Armstrong. The Curve 9320 specs are MIA for now, but you can assume it will be sporting around the same as the CDMA Curve 9310. If you're looking for a great entry level device on T-Mobile, this could be the way to go. Until we find out what the heck the Curve 9315 is anyway.

Looking to pick up the BlackBerry Curve 9320 in the UK? Have you considered Talk Talk as an option?

If you are in the UK and are looking to pick up the BlackBerry Curve 9320 you may want to consider giving Talk Talk a try as they have some great deals on at the moment. Talk Talk, who operate on the Vodafone network, currently offer three super value options when taking out a 24 month contract with them -- and the handset is free on all three deals.

Option one will be the 'Small plan' which will cost you just £10 per month and for this you will get 100 minutes, 250 texts, 200MB of data plus their built-in savings features.

Option two is the 'Medium plan', for £15 per month. Here you get 300 minutes, 3000 texts, 1GB of data and the built-in savings features.

Finally is the 'Large plan' and this one will set you back a reasonable £25 per month. For that money you will get a whopping 1000 minutes, 3000 texts, 4GB of data and the built-in savings features.

You are probably wondering what the built-in savings are. These include unlimited family calls (a huge incentive for the whole family to sign up), free text alerts, free voicemail and free calls to customer care.

With BlackBerry Curve 9320 sales of to a flying start in the UK these deals from Talk Talk are really not to be sniffed at. Although I am not a big fan of 24 month contracts (and especially with BlackBerry 10 on the horizon) there is still a huge market for them and the longer you commit to a network the more they will give you. The above offer is an online special so if you fancy taking advantage of a bargain, head on over to Talk Talk and pick a talk plan.

Have you considered Talk Talk as an option?'>

Orange in the UK are once again enticing people to pick up the BlackBerry Curve 9320 by giving away a free pair of Angle and Curve headphones (worth over £70.00) with the device. The BlackBerry Curve is already a huge hit and with millions of teenagers opting to use the BlackBerry as their smartphone of choice Orange are tapping into that market with the offer.

We all know that the BlackBerry is great for listening to music. With a clean and simple music player, plenty of removable storage, BBM Music and a built in FM radio it is possibly the perfect tool for the young and hip youth of today. Orange have given away the headphones in the past so I can only presume it was a big success. You can pick up the BlackBerry Curve 9320 from Orange on pay-as-you-go for £139.99 with a £10 top up. Sounds a pretty good deal to me.

Looking back: History shows BlackBerry is no Henry Ford

A few weeks back we ran a poll asking what color options you'd want to see for BlackBerry 10 devices. While a good number of you said you'd want to see many color options, most people simply want black and white. There's a famous quote by Henry Ford - "You can have it in any color, as long as it's black." While RIM has mostly stuck to that with their devices over the years, the Curve line is the one big exception (okay, I'll give you a few Pearls too).

While other models don't stray too far from black, silver or white, the Curves have been all across the spectrum when it comes to color. All the way back to the Curve 8310 and 8320 did RIM provide various color options for consumers -- everything from Sunset Orange to Saphire Blue to Ballet Pink. Personally, I'm a fan of black devices, while (as you all know well) Kevin loves his white. I'd love to see a bunch of great colors for BlackBerry 10, I think that we'll most likely end up with black at launch and maybe white will follow a few months later.

It would be awesome to see some fun BlackBerry 10 devices in blue, orange, silver, white, purple ... you name it, but I think RIM will stick with what works and keep the "black" in BlackBerry. We haven't heard anything that even hints at more color options, so it's a pretty safe bet that we won't see anything crazy at launch.

Keep reading for a look at just how many Curve colors have come and gone over the years. It's quite a big list (and took a while to get it all together) so if we missed anything be sure to leave a comment letting us know so we can fix it up.

A quick hands on with the Vivid Violet and Classic Blue BlackBerry Curve 9320

If you are thinking of picking up the BlackBerry Curve 9320 in the UK there is now a dilemma that must be tackled - which color to go for. At Vodafone they currently have the 9320 available in four varieties, Black, White, Classic Blue and Vivid Violet. We have already looked at the black and white editions and fortunately for me the two new color options arrived at my house this week courtesy of Vodafone.

Specs wise the devices are identical to the black version which just leaves the shell color being unique. I wasn't particularly excited about getting hands on with the Violet 9320 (being a big tough man) however the color is actually quite beautiful and not girly. With the BlackBerry Curve 9320 being such a huge hit here in the UK it is great that both RIM and their carrier partners are giving consumers some variation and choices when it comes to handset colors.

Another Canadian carrier jumps onto the BlackBerry Curve 9320 train -- this time around it is WIND Mobile. The Curve 9320, aimed at the socially connected market, is available on WIND Mobile for $199 if purchased outright or $0 if taken on their WINDtab plans - $25, $29 or $40.

Don't be fooled by this entry level model. For 'entry' level, it is a pretty decent device and packs a punch for a small model. While we haven't had a full review on the Curve 9320, Adam gave us a pretty solid 8 out of 10 review for it's CDMA version, the Curve 9310, which essentially has the same hardware. It certainly is a device for the socially connected, with it's BBM hotkey, pocketable size and good battery life.

Virgin Mobile UK is clearly having a purge on signing up new BlackBerry users. On their website today I noticed that with the BlackBerry Curve 9320 on pay-as-you-go they are offering twelve months of free BlackBerry Internet Services - Bargain. And that isn't all - the device is a great price too at only £109.89. Believe it or not, that still isn't all. Virgin will include £10.00 of free airtime credit when you purchase the device. And guess what? That still isn't all. Customers will also get 300 free text messages. If that doesn't tempt you I don't know what will.

The offer actually applies to all the BlackBerry smartphones that Virgin sell so you can grab the Bold 9900, the Curve 9320, the Curve 9360 and even the Curve 9300 which is currently only £89.99.

Virgin have the BlackBerry Curve 9320 in both black and white so you can choose the one that suits you best. I'm not sure how long this offer is on for so you had better get in quick. Nice work Virgin. We like you.

BlackBerry Curve 9320 in red coming soon to O2 UK

A week ago we saw Vodafone introduce a few new colour ranges to the BlackBerry Curve 9320 line - Vivid Violet and Classic Blue, with Pink releasing later in the summer. The Curve line has always seen a variety of colours so it's no surprise that there are a range of colours available for the Curve 9320. O2 UK will be releasing a red version, a colour that has been quite popular in previous Curve models and should sell well for the 9320 too.

O2 UK's coming soon page slates the red Curve 9320 as coming in August. Since we're already in the month we should see it be released very soon. The Curve 9320 is available for free on all O2 UK contract plans. It is also available on Pay as you go for £129.99 subject to a £10 top-up.

That will give O2 UK two colour variants - black and red. The Curve models have always been the very popular here in the U.K. especially with teenagers, with the Curve 8520 topping the bill back in 2010. The Curve 9320 is definitely a great successor and is definitely a BlackBerry device that I recommend for those looking to get their first BlackBerry smartphone or for teens.

The BlackBerry Curve 9320, the little entry level model that is making waves around emerging BlackBerry markets, is landing on Canadian carrier SaskTel. The Curve 9320 is being marketed as a BlackBerry smartphone for the socially connected, mainly for the addition of the BBM hotkey that gives you access to your BBM chats from wherever you are within the device.

SaskTel will have the Curve 9320 available for $149.99 on Prepaid. It will also be available on 1, 2, or 3 year contracts for $99.99, $69.99 and free respectively.

White BlackBerry Curve 9320 unboxing

We told you just a couple of weeks ago that Three UK have the white BlackBerry Curve 9320 in stock and they kindly sent one over to me today to check it out. (I get excited about that sort of thing!) The white variant is of course just the same specs wise as the 9320 - just the color that is different. You will see from the video that it does retain the nice grey strip around its side and back which looks fantastic from the rear. The two colours really do compliment each other.

So if you are going to adopt the BlackBerry Curve 9320 the question is which colour do you go for? For me I prefer the black but we are all different and I see loads of white Curves and Bolds out there in the wild. Let's face it - us BlackBerry fans love any BlackBerry, whatever its colour.

BlackBerry smartphones nominated in the Mobile Choice Consumer Awards 2012

The annual Mobile Choice Consumer Awards is here again and the nominations are up. A few BlackBerry devices have made it into four categories of the Awards, with two models finding their way into more than one category.

The BlackBerry Bold 9900 has been nominated for Best Handset for Social Networking and the ultimate award of Phone of the Year. The BlackBerry Curve 9320 is nominated for Best Value Phone and also for Best Handset for Social Networking. We also find the Porsche Design BlackBerry P'9981 being nominated in the Awards for Best Design.

Both the Bold 9900 and Curve 9320 look to be good contenders, especially the Curve 9320 for Best Value Phone. It certainly is great little device, giving you the whole BlackBerry experience, packaged into a small, sleek device and adding the BBM hotkey.

Let's get behind Team BlackBerry and get voting for our favorite devices. You can also be in for a chance to win a smartphone in the process.

Vodafone UK introduce the BlackBerry Curve 9320 in two new colors - Vivid Violet and Classic Blue

In tradition style, Vodafone UK has announced that they now have two new color variants of the popular BlackBerry Curve 9320 and will increase the range by adding a pink one later this summer. Kevin asked yesterday what colors we'd like to see for BlackBerry 10, so these may just be on that list. The two new colors are Vivid Violet and Classic Blue. The blue looks pretty nice but being a big tough man I can't say the same for violet -- and clearly the pink one will be out of the question for me. However, for the ladies these may well be perfect. So once the pink Curve is released it will make a grand total of five choices for customers as Vodafone already sell the black and the white one.

All variations of the BlackBerry Curve 9320 are priced at £135 on pay-as-you-go which is exceptional value if you ask me. In addition if you pick up one of these between now and the end of October the BlackBerry Internet Service will be half price - sweet. As well as getting the wonderful hardware keyboard on the BlackBerry Curve 9320 you will also find social networking a real breeze and keeping in touch with your buddies via instant messaging couldn't be easier than with the dedicated BBM key.

If you live in Australia, the prepaid options for BlackBerry with BIS services aren't exactly plentiful as only a few retailers offer the service, often with spotty coverage. Telstra is looking to better that situation a little and as such, have now made BlackBerry BIS service plans available to pre-paid customers. So how does it all work and what it will it cost you?

With your Pre-Paid BYO BlackBerry you can receive 30 days' access to the world-leading BlackBerry Individual Solution (BIS) with every recharge of $40 or more.

BIS provides you with unlimited BlackBerry and instant messaging, unlimited use of BlackBerry apps from BlackBerry AppWorld® for social networking, an unlimited number of emails, mobile web browsing in Australia, contact lists, tasks, calendar and organiser that you can take with you.

For every recharge of $40 or more you’ll enjoy 30 days' BIS access – plus the usual benefits in your pre-paid offer. Upon expiry of your BIS, you have a grace period of 30 days to recharge $40 or more and remain connected. If you miss this window, call 125 8887 and restore connection before you recharge.

In addition to the plan now being made available, Telstra will soon be offering the BlackBerry Curve 9320 as their first prepaid device on the network. Right now, we're not sure of the official launch date or pricing but if you currently already own a BlackBerry, Telstra will offer you the prepaid plan. Thanks, happydude-

Pick up the BlackBerry Curve 9320 in the UK for only £99.95 - That's cheap as chips.

If you are in the UK and are thinking of getting a BlackBerry or maybe upgrading, now may well be the perfect time to do it. The Carphone Warehouse have announced their 'prepay payday deal' and this entails discounting the BlackBerry Curve 9320 to a mere £99.95.

Running BlackBerry 7.1, sporting a FM radio and a dedicated BBM key the BlackBerry Curve 9320 may be a cheap BlackBerry but it offers fantastic value for money. If you are into your social networking and staying in touch with your buddies the 9320 may well be the device of your dreams without breaking the bank.

The 9320 is available in either black or white so you can choose the colour to suit your style. The offer will run up until Thursday August 2nd and you can pick up the device on T-Mobile, Virgin or Vodafone. This may well be bargain of the year.

T-Mobile UK offering a family plan on the BlackBerry Curve 9320

I was walking around town the other day and saw a great deal as I passed a T-Mobile store. Get two BlackBerry devices on a family plan. Of course, it piqued my interested so I had to go in and inquire about it.

The family deal is based on getting two BlackBerry Curve 9320 devices. Right now T-Mobile UK offers the Curve 9320 free on the £15.50 per month tariff where you get 100 mins, 500 texts, 250MB data, plus an Unlimited Booster. When you purchase two Curve 9320 devices you get the second one at a £5 discount so it becomes £10.50 per month for the same plan and you end up paying £26 a month for the two devices.

It certainly is great looking deal, especially if you're looking to get your first BlackBerry device (or two) or even for the teens on your family. The offer is not available online and may also only be available in some T-Mobile UK stores. So please inquire in-store about the plan.
