NobexNobex Screen

We first checked out Nobex Radio Companion back in November, and have only seen it updated a few times since. We got word today that Nobex has added a lineup of ESPN stations to it's service. This is great news for sports fans, as you'll now be able to listen to feeds from a number of larger markets like Boston, Cleveland, Philadelphia and St. Louis. There is also a feed for the national ESPN stream.  This is a new feature that may set Nobex apart from the "music only" applications like Slacker and Pandora. Check out Nobex in App World, or head over http://www.nobexrc.com/ from your device browser to download.

Nobex Radio Companion Adds ESPN Stations

I tried their streams. I wasn't too impressed with them. Especially considering Iheartradio has the local stream (LA). I think I will stick with that.

However, for song dentification, it's second to none!

It's nice they're adding this, but I think there are more pressing issues for them to fix. I use this because it's the only free one I've seen to have Milwaukee stations, but the buffering is so bad sometimes and other times it cuts out and only allows me to reconnect after rebooting my phone. I'd like to see them fix the buffering and IOException errors soon.
