I downloaded this morning. Doesn't make sense to me to display phone contacts in IM application. I used it before I get along with Beejive because I have a long contact list (>350) and it cannot get full list. Second thing is it's cannot group contact as I grouped in my YIM contacts. First thing is seemed to be solved, second thing still remain. However a plus I saw from this is it has find contact function, the thing I am asking hopelessly on Beejive support forum.

It has phone contacts because on other platforms it has sip as well as Skype voip support. Hopefully theyre trying to get that over to bb as well.

Keyboard issues for the 9550. I went to log in after creating a profile and the keyboard will not show on the screen. I tried rebooting, deleted and reinstalled, made sure all permissions were set to allow and even trying to change the compability mode to no luck.

It's great to see that the Facebook problem is resolved, but now when conversations are long enough (on AIM so far), the chat seems to lag the whole phone because Nimbuzz is trying to record the chat history (no way to disable it either). This can happen with ONE conversation. I can only imagine this happening with multiple ones. Ever since I updated this and battery pulled 2-3 times (on a 9700), the app seems to delay much more than previous versions.

The only way to get rid of the lag is to Delete Chat of the conversation that goes on for too long.

Couldn't even set up facebook, just brought me to a white screen... Seems like it could be quite a nice app, but has some issues.

The good things about Nimbuzz, it's free and it has Skype but doesn't drain my battery like i-skoot.

Spammers... they just tick me off....(they will be deleted soon I hope) anyways back on the subject I hope this is a better version battery wise... I seem to get a quick drain using it on my 9550... I cant imagine the previous poster saying it's better than Iskoot... I skoot must be horrible with battery then.

Hey guys,

Andi from Nimbuzz here.

Thanks for the feedback so far. We will look into these issues and see how we can solve them.

In regards to the battery consumption, there has been an improvement from the previous version. You will be able to notice it if you have Nimbuzz running in the background and it's direct proportional with the number of contacts. The more buddies you have the bigger will be the difference.

Does not work for me. I went to settings and clicked manage and clicked on facebook and I get the "The URL is not yet available" error.

Installed it same problem as others, no keyboard. Installed it on my pc, set up accts there, no Skype on the pc.

It then sync-ed over air to the 9550 gmail chat and facebook show up, BUT face book shows a few pix of friends the rest show as -100045893xxx etc just neg numbers.. guess it is slow to update.
Tried a chat with 1 FB friend, only no keyboard but able to insert icon, once I did that the keyboard was enabled for that one use. Then the keyboard would come up at random times..I do not think they have it ready for the 9550.
