Are you ready for some football? Here's how you can keep up with the NFL on your BlackBerry

Well, are you ready?? Today is the kickoff to the NFL season (Go Giants!!) and I couldn't be more excited. It's a great time of year for sports fans and I'm ready to grab some pizza and beer and sit on my couch every Sunday (and Monday ... and Thursday). New York Giants Mobile

SORRY! I had to sneak this one in here. The Giants do kick off the season tonight, they are the SuperBowl champs and the app is pretty sweet (although it's HUGE at 6.2mb). It features scores, schedules, news, standings and all that good stuff plus you get a sweet Giants logo icon to look at on your home screen. Best of all? It's free!

Last but not least, the obvious. NFL.com offers up a great mobile site that works on BlackBerry. It's comprehensive and includes news, scores, standings and more.  If you're like me and like to go minimal on apps, this may be your best bet. Just add a bookmark to your homescreen and it will never be more than a click away! Oh yeah, this one's free too :-)
