Thats nice consistent typing regardless of what kind of keyboard it is. It would still take a lot for me to build enough faith in touchscreen to leave my 8900 behind though.

Why is it so loud? I heard it was loud because in one video the back wasn't on? That squeaking noise is the most annoying noise. If the Storm II sounds anything like that or has a louder "click" than the Storm I...epic FAIL

That is pretty nice..... I like alot. I do hope you can turn that clicking sounds off, that is going to drive me bonkers.

Damn that was quick RIM. I guarantee someone on RIM's legal team follows Crackberry on Twitter and whenever there is a video of an unreleased device they shoot the same email off to youtube but just change the link of the video.

I love Sal's videos...with one exception. They are released most often while I am at work and by the time I get home they are gone...

Such a bummer. I can't wait to hear some official news from RIM soon. If the early rumors were correct we are less than three weeks away from the B2B release and just under a month from the full consumer release of S2.

My GF even said that was gone quicker than she's used to.

To think RIM pays somebody to do this! Monitor for vids and make sure they are removed, even though the time for product changes is likely passed, the technology is well known, and the video itself reveals no new information.

So can somebody describe what was on the video?

Has nobody here ever thought to type in "storm 2 typing" into the youtube search engine after this linked video is pulled?

The video is still on youtube just under other people accounts. Give it a shot.

Oh and the video is just of him typing in landscape mode just as well as he did in portrait mode. (suretype vs. qwerty)
